Tried to catch The Killer in yesterday's TT, but he was far out of sight. Luckily somebody else caught him! #NoSense #UCI #GoodWork

Please tell me the best placed clean rider of that Giro.

I remember back then there was a rumor about 7 or 8 positives in top-10 straight after the Giro. RCS surely preferred to sweep this thing under the carpet otherwise the edition would have had to be cancelled completely.

Oops. Popped while not even getting to 6 W/kg. He must be doing it wrong.

That is because he was never good. Without Carlo Santuccione's full gas program he is nothing

What you suggest is not how it works. The organizer does not own the lab.

Probably the tresholds/testing methods were not good enough for a straight ban. Keep in mind there was a big arms race against Epo at that time, which only around that time made Epo more or less detectable.

Humm... when did they start testing again?

Only testing the likes of Di Luca and Menchov. Dont need to test the new generation they are clean, they said so.

Di Luca to Cataldo (Italian ITT Champ) on Twitter yesterday about the time trial: "I only lost with 11 seconds. That means I'm strong!"

Wonder if they'll retest his samples after the restdays to see if there were some good old refill days.

1% of the peloton at this Giro - popped. So what % are actually doping?

Seeing as how hundreds of tests can be taken without popping a positive, I am guessing the actual % is about what it was eight years ago.

I guess DiLuca did not have time to bank his blood, so he had to use quick, old school methods.
