Bora were trying to keep him in the first few rows in the final 30km, but he was really *** and holding his place again. Completely misplaced himself for the bonus sprint and didn't get back to the front until the space opened up on the final climb.
QS had the read on him. When he is on Evenepoel's wheel, they should fall back in the peloton and let others push him around.
 
I think it's pretty obvious the only thing that matters is the legs, i.e. does he have form or not. That's the big question mark after switching teams. No one gives a sh*t about 4 seconds.

The most important thing today was he got through in one piece. No accidents, no snafus, no B.S. The rest is just over-analysis IMO.
