It's hard to feel sorry for a woman who prostitutes herself in this manner:

"Prostitutes herself"? Are you somehow posting here from 1884? She appeared in a couple of photographs wearing a jacket over a one piece swimsuit, shun the harlot!
This is not the point though.

Seriously, that Guardian article seems to have been written by a PR person from the British Olympic Association.
Firstly, it hits all the talking points: - attack the hackers, tell everyone how clean you are, tell everyone how tough it is to get a TUE, all of which goes unchallenged.

Secondly, coming from a cute young female athlete in her 'lad mag' pose in a team sport - how on earth could she be a doper. It's much better than having, say, Geraint Thomas or some guy from an 'obvious doping' sport defending his use of TUEs.

It's a more noteworthy point than anything else in the post I was responding to.

As for Quek's article, it's nothing I wouldn't expect a scrupulously clean athlete who had a perfectly justified TUE to write. It's also nothing I wouldn't expect an athlete who had gamed the TUE system to write. It's not really of any particular interest.

a new cyclist, Bobridge , 6 TUE's

Laura Trott, 1TUE

overall part3 is weak , almost nothing
Rheumatoid arthritis? Bobridge should be competing in the disabled olympic competitions...

It's manageable with over the counter painkillers and injections such as the one listed on the TUE.
Bobridge's name would have been more suspicious if it didn't show up. His arthritis has been the reason why he roars in the Aus summer but whimpers in the Euro spring.

Why no team has ever taken him to the Vuelta puzzles me.

Fuglsang not looking great .
His is weird. He is listed as "mountain bike". It has no dates or frequency and is unsigned.
It must have been generated when he was a mountain biker, which would date it around 2008 or earlier.

It would explain how he rose and had 'form' for a few years but then dropped of as Cortisone has a limited window usage.

Those bad boy MTB'ers, they like it too rough. Evans. Rasmussen. Landis. They've ruined road racing with their bad habits.

He responded in danish media with what amounts to scratching his head (over the disagreements of the sport and the official looking stamps it have dating it to Rio) and saying that it was from treating a knee injury up to the U23 World Championships '08 for Mountain Bike ... which for what it's worth was before he turned pro (which he did later that year after breaking through in Denmark Rundt)

Thanks. Other than Wiggins the cycling ones don't seem to have any "AHA!!" information.

That Fulsgang one is odd.

Triamcinolone 'as needed' (quote) with no end date. Odd Odd Odd. At least Wiggo only had a 1 day dispensation.
Yes, he has some explaining to do. Someone posted that he said it was because of knee surgery back in 2007 or 2008. I don't remember what thread I read that in otherwise I would have quoted it.

It reads like it's an open ended TUE. Something that could have been used before the ORR, where he won silver.

Fancy Bears have seemingly only 'hacked' and 'leaked' information regarding TUE's. It appears as though that will be the extent of their finds. It's too bad, because I believe there is much, much more to be had out there. I can't believe that only TUE's are in question here. While the timing of the TUE's and the reasons for them have varied, and we can make numerous assumptions and come to different conclusions on all the athletes that have had their information leaked, it doesn't give us a real light bulb flickering and the alarm bells ringing. Though I am not sure how they could actually leak positive tests or firm cover ups. I think they are either amateur in their ability to do that, and/or the powers that be really have done and still are, doing a nice job of keeping a lid on things. It does however, give us clear indication of how easily manipulated and used the TUE system(s) can be. To me it covers up the bigger issues.

It reads like they've (poorly) tried to falsify the documents with disagreeing information about when it happened (the information available suggests early'ish '08, the stamps and the like suggest Rio) so I'm not putting much stock in them not having removed any end date
