Hmm, I don't dislike Klöse, and this stats are amazing, but I really hope he doesn't pass Ronaldo (best player of the past 2 decades)

I always believed in Klose. I still do... if he breaks the record, I jump drunk in the pool at our garden parties.

P.S.:
Best players ever;
1. Pele
1. Maradona (tie)
3. Müller
4. Messi, C. Ronaldo? Don´t know since I gave up after 2010...
Klose not, because he didn´t shone too much in the club games.

So exactly like in the NFL. I am 100% for that. OFC. :)
BTW guys; the good ´ol Americans use replay since 28 (!!!) years. Yet the Fifa neanderthals still refuse it.
I am sorry, but the only rational reasoning must be that Fifa likes easy-to-fix-games. Netserk is right.

No, Nfl method sucks too. You see cockups like the fail mary, not everything can be challenged (bowman), knowing when to actually use your challenges makes it a tactic, the video refs are only allowed to overturn a decision if they are 100% sure otherwise they are forced to favour the original decision even if they are 90% sure.

A system where when the whole world sees a decision was wrong, it is simply overturned. No limits, no tactics, no favouring. Just simple and fair.

You know I am critical of NFL refs. But nothing ever came close there to what we expierienced in 2 games now.
I told Alpe like this;
Imagine the "Tuck Rule". But not once per decade, but 4 times in 2 consecutive games.

The fail mary was debatted long. It´s still open. ;)
And, you seldom have game deciding wrong decisions. The only penalty to compare to a wrong given penalty-kick or non-given goal is... (Wrong) defensive PI on a bomb. I can´t imagine something else...

So Mexico needs to score 3 goals to get one :eek:this referees are horrible.Anyway i'm very happy for Mexico,a deserved win.Dos Santos was sensational,better than Neymar.

Next Flying Dutchman vs Spanish Armada,Netherlands to upset the gods of arena and get the revenge.

Corruption is a huge problem in FIFA, but this has nothing to do with that.

1)Not using video technology
2)Using refs who are simply not good enough...
Pretty much this.These colombians referees were really bad:(

I cant reply yesterday as i was busy so .... Foxy the reason i don't complaint at the same thing said again again at the froome thread is because i am tired of the thread and have been asking for a function to ignore threads and don't take some of the post or one or two posters too seriously ( who regularly post there)

I would never hope to see anybody get seriously injured, but I wouldn't mind Spain & the Netherlands kicking the crap out of eachother. Australia needs all the help they can get!

OK... close call. But but but... do refs realize that penalty kicks are game deciding? :eek:
I mean it wasn´t a wrong descison per se, but penalties kicks shall be given on true absolute fouls, since the following kick is a 75% chance of goal...

Very clever from Costa to get the penalty but it's still cheating just like Fred yesterday. Big goal for Spain!

Wow, just seen the penalty from the other angle, horrible dive. Really should be punishments for that.

I'd call it a professional dive. A part of the game Imho.
