Hi there Mr tester, have yourself a coffee! Mind if I take a shower? Great. What's that? Oh I always shower with my head thrown back and my mouth open. Glug.

I'm having time line issues here.

Why would you need to microdose in 2005? Michael Ashenden says it's only become a problem in the last year.

And why would Landis know about the blood passport, that started in 2007?

Is Landis trying to make his testimony relevent to the present day?

Yeah I am sure he is just making this stuff up on a whim. I think your right and don’t let all these haters get you down. Keep up the good work tex18!

That is a pretty damning article. What does the UCI do now, in response? Clearly the biopassport isn't very effective, other than to maybe weed out the careless.

Maybe, that was it's intended use.;)

Nope, 2001 would be more accurate. That's when the EPO test came in and caught a number of unsuspecting riders.

I am printing up some "I Heart Floyd Landis" tee shirts. Anyone want one?

Size L, please.

Then I'll retire my present t-shirt

The expert "Jury of Nine" team that analyze the biopassport datapoints are a few steps ahead of Floyd don't you think? Or do you think Floyd just unveiled some super-secret doping routine....

I am not sure he unveiled some super-secret doping routine but the article (did you read it?) said that Ashenden says

“All that may sound like science fiction, but according to Ashenden, Landis has probably provided a key piece of the puzzle that has vexed him and his peers for a long time: Why some riders' blood values remained within a unusually narrow range, a pattern that was suspicious in and of itself but not generally subject to sanctions."We've known they're doing something, especially in the last year," Ashenden said.”

So why would do you think he would say something like that?

I want one, and I also propose that May 20th henceforth should be known as the international Floyd Landis day.

May 20 is also the Feast Day of St. Acquila.

"An Egyptian martyr. In the persecution conducted by co-Emperor Maximin Daia, Aquila was torn to pieces with iron combs. His death was witnessed by the prefect Arianus, who became a Christian and a martyr. " http://www.catholic.com

Hope this doesn't happen to Floyd.

Please do not respond to the troll. I have already reported him to Susan.

Understand, the inconsistencies and distortions of his posts are premeditated. He wants you to respond to them. That is why he writes them.

Which, one HiTex or Polish? ;)

Polish is tolerable to me for some reason. BPC is just a sad, mentally ill person with computer skills.

I think from what Landis is saying this is why the BIO has only caught lower ranked riders. They simply can't afford to dope like the richer athletes and get away with it. So there you go. The bio-passport is a tax on the poor!

From the way I am reading it, the concept of intravenously taking EPO, and the volume of EPO that technique allows, undercuts the "micro-dosing" concept. These are not "micro-doses" they appear to be "macro-doses" or "mega-doses".

If you can take a larger quantity of EPO, and it increases the blood volume, this allows for less drop-off of the markers being watched on the Bio-Passport.

If taking EPO this way means a shorter testing window, then riders are far less concerned about the EPO test.

Basically, it sounds like Landis has given them the info they have been missing.

That is how I read it. He even explains how the body can metabolize larger amounts by injecting intravenously.

Having cancer should did pay big.

The way this is reading I can't see how Armstrong realistically ride the Tour this year. I'll just be looking at him and think he's doping. He's still doping today. It would be a joke if they allow him to race.

Also appears Floyd has a lot more to say and there's more to come. Its getting more and more interesting by the day.

?

because the teams knew it was coming, they paid for it, and were already one step ahead of the UCI.

and hes been back (racing) a year so he will also have had to submit to it assumedly

The 'cancer' remark was to do with the type of injection method. I think some people are confused about that.

We're not confused. My point was that the sporting media, for many years, avoided like the plague the use of the word "cancer" in any respect.

Obviously the comment wasn't aimed at Armstrong any more than it was aimed at Team Type 1 or any other insulin-dependent diabetics. It just struck me as a departure form the status quo that strove to avoid any perception of criticism of Armstrong.

HiTex38 said:
No people have said 'cancer' for years. I thnk you just saw 'cancer' in something to do with LA and got a bit mixed up about what it meant. A trick on the mind.

Um no, I just stated what I meant when I read the article and when I wrote the original post. Perhaps if I draw a picture in crayon and scan it for you, it might become more comprehensible?

Maybe is was common for the vampires to show up in the morning when you are racing the Tour with Lance on your Team in the afternoon? Duh?

TdF?

No but Lance is dating Kristen Stewart

How to beat the biological passport ?

1) Decide on your blood profile and dope up to the required levels before the first (baseline) sample. Microdose subsequently to keep the levels artificially high yet constant

2) Have a team internal testing program to monitor 1)
