Well Ferrari does raise an interesting point. He appears to be suggesting the UCI are "hand selecting" people they want to take down on the bio rather than it been done on blood values alone.

This is the mother of all corruptions. The same governing body has every vested interest to control, with all the economic insentives this presupposes, who is doped and who isn't.

For this they let LA get away with it for as long as they independently were able. Given that the investigation is "Italian," little will change.

If the investigation into Pantani's death is anything to go by or the Amanda Knox we can expect some form of decision by 2021. For it to be reversed two later.

As I understand it Possoni used to work with Ferrari. He was forced to stop by the team....but Ferrari has a Svengali like hold on some of his clients. Ignoring the doping for seconds.....they don't feel they can perform without his guidance. I understand Possoni started working with him again, even though his team and Fed said it was not allowed.

Ignoring the doping for seconds.....they don't feel they can perform without his guidance. I understand Possoni started working with him again, even though his team and Fed said it was not allowed.

Not sure where posters have claimed a team wide doping program, mostly a GT team doping program as the 1 day races showed no results and the GT team spent so much time on Tenerife.

But Possoni went back to Lampre so maybe he did not get near the 'program'.

So, if Vino's got 12 WT riders on a program, none of them test positive? Well, except, very suddenly, very recently.

This is why I believe the UCI is sitting on a mountain of positives. It's hard to believe they don't have all kinds of positive scores because of these revelations along with Horner's and Kreuziger's scores.
