Libardo Nino has him covered.

The level of competition hasn't been that high though... the only WT race where he surfaced was the Dauphiné. And there he showed something which is not great for a GT contender: he's (still) pretty inconsistent.Hugo Koblet said:If we're talking solely of GT contenders, I think it's pretty safe to say that Pinot is clearly the most talented based on what we've seen and the level of competetion he has faced.

If we're just discussing "big talents" then Sagan definitely.
I have high hopes for Battaglin as well. He has been very convincing.

theyoungest said:Yeah, we saw that in Castilla y Leon... dropped the field on the penultimate (steep) climb, and got dropped himself by 20-odd riders on the final climb, which was basically a false flat.
Cue some story about the wrong gear choice.
Don't know about that... he can't actually make a difference on climbs. And his TT isn't great either. But who knows, Nibali won a GT as well.

Reading is difficult for some... I was talking about tempo climbs, the "easy" climbs you usually find in the Tour, and that's not Quintana's forte.Ryo Hazuki said:thank you for ruining your own argument for me. that's exactly the point. he's very good at long distance climbs, not flat or false flat. but he simply needs maturity in that. everyone can see that, the guy is 21
You mean he's ****ing nuts and ultra competitive and I love him.Ryo Hazuki said:yes indeed. he seems mentally a bit unsatble but amazing engine and raw talent

Other than that I completely agree with the rest of your names. Hopefully Ratto and Felline will find a team for next year.
