They're not your usual Burkina Fasso riders in the early breakaway. Jackson Rodriguez for example was 51st in this year's Giro. They'll catch them, 90% sure, but they're still playing with fire.

The impetus will go out a bit, quite a few teams left key riders behind I know I only seen O'Grady + Gerrans + one other guy for us so at least 1 of cadel/rogers missed it.

right, the point is that the favorites and their supporters will never let this break last, but it will come at the expense of team strength.

This really would support riders like Gilbert, but let's wait and see who survives....
