From what I've heard, the stage "begins" at Passage du Gois, but it is not officially started before they are over it. Therefore, there shouldn't be any accidents as they will just ride slowly over it before the stage actually starts.ingsve said:More importantly the first stage will go over Passage du Gois which means that the Tour could be over before it starts for some riders.
