Contador is photographed with the jersey he'll be wearing during his ban since he isn't allowed to wear the Saxo Bank kit.

Thx for that.

Both those riders have not done so much this year ( do you know why/ what races they have done??? ) but they are 2 of my favourite riders based on the last 2 years.

lol at cycling journalism by cyclingnews again :(

During his evidence, Gavazzi accused his former manager at the Diquigiovanni-Androni team, Gianni Savio, of providing him with the drug however Dr. Francis Plotinu who chaired the hearing deemed that the rider's testimony was not "credible".

oh you got it wrong.gavazzi hasn't nothing to do with savio, that guy was de angeli snitching out his ex-boss for some little cash

just like savio confirmed to my big cycling site, into his words:

Uran will not ride Amstel ;/ I thought that race suited perfectly for him with his abilities...

Insanely good squad for Romandie though :

Mark Cavendish, Chris Froome, Jeremy Hunt, Danny Pate, Richie Porte, Michael Rogers, Kanstantsin Siutsou, Bradley Wiggins

Could be the Tour squad (minus Hunt and plus EBH and Eisel).

That's very surprising. Uran is much better suited to Amstel than to Fleche Wallone.

He didn't ride it last year as well, so I guess it's some kind of preference oh his I think... He's not riding Pais Vasco too, so acutally Nordhaug might share the leadership here with Rogers and with his improved TT he might get a Top 10 hopefully :)

Well at least EBH and Nordhaug will be the leaders which should prevent any moaning about Sky's tactics from you. :p

I don't moan when it's logical. If Uran were there then of course he would've been the leader.

If your race has to get cut to 3 days then at least try to make something of those three days.

Boring. They could've made so much more of it.

Edit: But otoh because the stages are rather short maybe we can expect some attacks from far out.

Navacerrada is okay though. But at 50 k from the finish, what will be the damage?

wrong side of the climb, the one they will be climbing is slightly harder so maybe some sprinters will get dropped
