In fairness Ganna is by far the best time trialist in the race, there is no Remco/Tarling/Wout and so on so the advantage at first time split is of no surprise to anyone. He should be winning this time trial easily with 45+ seconds on every other rider.Everybody was holding something back but it was Pog who advanced from 10th in the first split to 3rd in the second and his acceleration compared to competition was striking. OTOH Ganna's advantage over his rivals was significant already in the first split.
Affini was onlu 27s behind Pogacar at T2 in PerugiaOnly on track to take ~1'10" on Affini. Hmm.
Likely won't make the top-5 in a depthless TT field. He's still bang average.Foss looking to rebuff thief accusations with this ride
I thought this was more or less the gap to be expected on Affini? Similar gap to the flat section of the first TTOnly on track to take ~1'10" on Affini. Hmm.
I hope the pronunciation was not worse than Rule Fun Sintmaartensdijk because that‘s the bare minimumIts pronounced 'Roel Van Sintmaartensdijk' you idiots, god.
this man in the pictures is credited for Pog improving the TT to the level where he will sweep Ganna at both TTs at the Giro
