Sastre needs five and a half minutes here, that's a pretty big ask. He had better hope that Basso and Liquigas are tired after riding so hard yesterday.

Just read Voeckler and Cunego are out of the front group, whereas Vino finds the connection

Marcell Wyss is earning his paycheck today.

Matthew Lloyd is probably also winning that green jersey today.

Congratulations to the organisers though. Not only have we had some of the best racing in years, the best tv coverage in years, but to shift all that snow, some of the best organisation in years..

The grand tour that all will be measured by for years to come.

Here here. I have enjoyed this Giro more than any GT since the '08 Tour de France.

The Gazzetta's stream and ticker does seem to lag behind Rai/Eurosport by a good few minutes.

The dude in this TV ad on Rai has the BEST GODDAMN AFRO.

Bless Gazzetta and their animations on the botton of the screen that give overview over the race for those who does not understand italian. That is so neat!

And to think, it's only the 3rd best race in the world. :p:D

In all seriousness, I hope ASO is paying attention.

EDIT: the maglia rosa group is absolutely tiny.

Lloyd, Sastre and another cervelo rider and a rider from Bbox, I belive, are split from the front group and have a small time advantage over the others from the group.

Never mind, they are all back together again
