Alberto HATES to lose. He just hates it!

When he was dropped at the end of stage three, he pointed down at his wheelset. It was the wheel that lost. Not Alberto.

Lance was/is the same way. Hates to lose.
One of the many attributes that set(s) Lance apart from the others.

Hating to lose is a good thing for a competitor.
As long as there is a Genius DS / Team Boss to direct the orchestra.

Alberto has yet to win a GT without Bruyneel.
If Alberto loses this year, I would guess it will be a management issue..

That or Vino wil poison him at a team dinner.

actually in mine and well plenty of others he has allready won 3 tours without bruyneel..........i think you should consider the hilarity of armstrong winning anything at all without bruyneel........

and while im at it Berto was not droped on stage 3, he had a mechanical becoming progressivley worse in the finale..........spin, spin, spin

why not talk about the shacks lack of tactical nouse on that stage, missed that huh........

Well don't forget the Bear factor now that we are heading to the Alps... he is going to need all the support from Vino, Grivko and Iglinsky to kill the bears bare handed :D

Lance will beat him.

Lance has been back traning for almost two years now, he is going to get better and better.

Contador is to young and inexperienced he has only won 4 gts lance has won 7. contador also has a very week team that was not able to support him on the pavel and that is why he dropped back, no team.

They wont be able to support him in the montains, how do you expect contador to climb with the best unless the has at least three team mates around him? Seriously.

Are you ****in' kiddin' me? Lance couldn't beat him with a motor in his bike...

even Lance himself would find your posts fail:eek:

Why would you doubt? I think you need to have more faith, Lance has been training really hard. Lance is very experienced having ridden the same race over and over again, he knows every bump in the road now. Contador does not have this experience and cannot unite a team, he wouldnt even work for his team captain last year. How do you expect this guy to win?

Yes, it's in jest. Wonderlance is a Lance critic doing a fairly transparent parody of a Lance fanboy.

Why would you answer questions addressed at me yourself. That is very rude but I will forgive you because lance teaches us to have fath in the goodness of people.

Please be aware that I am neither a "fanboy' or a 'hater' as you call them but simply a person who does not hate excellence and love cancer like some people. it is for these reasons that I think you should help me in my campain to become a moderator. I am one of the only people here that can see things clearly.

184 Paolo Tiralongo (Ita) Astana 0:05:23
185 David De La Fuente Rasilla (Spa) Astana
186 Dmitriy Muravyev (Kaz) Team Radioshack
187 Daniel Navarro Garcia (Spa) Astana 0:06:06
188 Jesus Hernandez Blazquez (Spa) Astana

That's certainly most unusual. It's their whole climber squad.

you don't have a ****ing idea... that was planned mate... they are not participating in the chase or in the final sprint cuz they are resting and taking easy cuz this weekend start the real deal and they want to be fresh and with legs to climb

Gracias David,Navarro,Tiralongo y @jesushernandez3 por vuestra profesionalidad descansando los ultimos 10kms,dentro de poco os toca.

I'm going to translate to you... "Thanks David,Navarro,Tiralongo y @jesushernandez3 for your professionalism resting the last 10km, soon will be your turn"

that was written by El Pistolero in his twitter today 7 hours ago... but not only them were resting, I also I saw Horner and Popo arriving with the rest of the astana team...

LOL!

These guys suck, how do they expect to compete with radioshack in the moutains if they cant even hold a wheel on the flat stages! This is going to be 2002 all over again. SHACK IS BACK.

so Why is unusual??? for me that is pretty normal... they are domestiques and they have to work for AC doesnt matter the time that they will get on the general the important thing is that they will be a little bit more rested than others for this weekend... I don't understand why you dont get it

Did you happen to notice who the 4 were? Climbers. Can you imagine WHY they would intentionally drop off in the final 10KM? And no fatigue wasn't the reason.

Well, on a literal level, there are in infinite number of answers to the OP's question. I think one of the most unlikely would go something like this:

I hope this helps explain how Contador could lose.

Students; too much time on their hands.

Don't forget he has read the Hog' book, "We might as well win"
That's the ticket !

The tour is long and many things can happen.
That is what makes it a great race.

Dude you are going to kill me with this kind of posts :) wow... Of course each day is a diff astana rider who goes to the árriere of the peloton... does make sense for you having just one rider there saving legs and the other 7 killing themselves in the final kms?? that turn in the back of the peloton changes everyday and every moment in the stage... in this days I have seen Dani, Tiralongo, Jesus Hernandez most of the time in the back of the peloton... that is not cuz they are cr@p and can't stand with the peloton... they are there saving legs for the Alps... this premières stages in the alps are going to be total madness... everybody is going to attack and AC needs to have the whole bunch rested to respond some attacks...

I wonder if lance can give five asstana riders 'the look' at the same time before he smokes them like he did that german sausage.

I'm pretty sure that Tiralongo can climb better than the Uniballer... He can go down get some water and food for El Pistolero and then climb again to attack the uniballer and left him sucking Levi or Kloeden wheel...

Men to men of course not but they are close, they are being understimated and that would be their advantage, nobody expect anything from them... if we are going to talk about who is the strongest team in the mountains there is no other answer than Liquigas... but that is other topic... the thing is if Astana squad can climb? of course they can and they can do it great, they are not that famous like LL or AK but they can do the job... just wait and see... you will curse me when you see the Astana climbing like mountains goats :D

Is the answer something like this?

Its just a shame that while Tiralongo was fetching the water Vino got some of his Kazak buddies to take care of the Bertie problem.
Lance ride off into the distance.

you wait when the group is down to 20 astana will only have ac an vino an The shack will have 4 or so..they can climb i ain't saying they can't,just not with the top 20 or so which means vino better not blow up!! or it's game on for gc

So you envision Radio Shack riding defensively in the mountains? Hard to win that way when you are a couple of minutes behind several guys.
