Just joined. Looks like a semi boring race so far?

Hoping for Valverde as usual, but Remco winning I wouldnt mind either!

Plenty of flat before Ganda, mostly medium gradient climbs before that. This is to be expected, only the craziness of some of the racing this season made us dream of more.

Yeah, but that is not a factor you can just ignore. So this is still surprising.

It's a bit of both, really. If Deceuninck had wanted an aggressive race instead of shutting everything down, we probably would have an aggressive race. With Jumbo and UAE doing similar stuff, it's the worst case scenario.

I think it required a bigger investment than what a single team could provide on this route to break the deadlock. Ganda is a huge bottleneck here.
