as this whole cancer 'charity' is extremely dodgy who is to say what Cancer Jesus standing down really means?
So i imagine the thread will continue as info leaks out about where the money really goes.

it did appear that lance hoped to stay connected to livestrong but growing
public anger to his actions made this impossible without major damage to the charity
can livestrong exist without lance / can lance thrive without livestrong?
livestrong.com continues............how many 'clicks' will it now receive?

Odd how using a cancer charity for a PR battering ram to defend some clown's cycling record might undermine credibility in a big way...
They can drop him from whatever, but they are still entirely associated with him and it will prove impossible to survive is my bet...livestrong IS armstrong and they made sure to make it that way...what's next?...they drop the word "strong" from the title and just call it "live"? In short, doomed...
Couldn't happen soon enough in my book and then perhaps some of those monies given in good faith can return to actually fighting cancer rather than making folks "aware" of it's existence...
Velodude said:From the IRS site:
Tax exempt status is pulled if Armstrong was benefiting out of LAF activities.
The payment made of $2-3m by TDU pocketed by Armstrong specifically included an amount payable for the use of the Livestrong name on a cancer facility.
If the public are paying amounts to participate in a Livestrong event and moneys are paid out of those funds to Armstrong for "celebrity speaking" attendance then he has benefited in breach of IRS rules and the IRS are compelled to withdraw tax exemption status from LAF.

sorry can't see a link.
Desperate pathetic attempt at garnering public support through genuine heroes? If true, what despicable creatures he and all in TeamLance really are
