Nah. Ryo, are you hating Nibali mainly because there is a very unpleasant individual on PCMBenelux that has a LaFlorecita like affection for Nibali? Because I think it is that.

I hope you're not trying to say that I am a very unpleasant individual.

When you keep going on about Contador vs Schleck in every topic, related or not, yes.

Going back to the new "Basso Discussion thread" - I'm wondering what Liquigas will do about an Aging GT rider with a year left in his contract & few to none chances to win again... Is the team going to revolve around him? Is this the master plan? Sagan is going to get "milked" big time in the next years since the team is weakening in the GT department.....

I could see him captaining up one more Giro if none of the younger riders have a break out performance before next year. If he did I guess the team tactics would be a lot different from this year with everyone having more of a free role.

I don't think Liquigas will want to let him go, even though his chances of winning big are very small now, he's still a big draw in Italy and will still get a lot of coverage on the tv cameras because it's Basso. Also his experience will be pretty handy for the younger guys (especially since Liquigas has by far the youngest team in the world tour http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/lampre-oldest-team-in-worldtour-liquigas-the-youngest).

I think Caruso will ride for GC for the first time in Vuelta. Then they will decide how to race in giro next year.

They should have Basso become a support rider for the high mountains. One thing he seems to still be able to do well is ride a hard tempo in the mountains.
We might see liquigas become more of a sprint and classic oriented team with riders like Oss, Viviani, and Sagan. especailly with their big grand tour stars Basso getting old and Nibali on his way out. Basso could help set a high pace for the other climbers on the team or set a high pace to catch the break on stages that have climbs before flat finishes.

Latest rumor is Liquigas and Saxo to merge (see Contador discussion thread). I think that would solve their weakening GT squad quite a bit.

Was Nibali the guy who never attacked on climbs?
I remember you saying that very thing, a few posts earlier.

it's called "charcheren" over saying something but not meaning what it literally says. don't know how to put that in english. when I say never. I mean rarely.

that as well. but also nibali I hate cuz he's so overrtaed. I'm laughing my *** of right now that people relaly think he was the strongest in tirreno. the stage sagan won, horner for instance was better than nibali and so was kreuziger. horner and kreuziger are worse itt riders though and especially kreuziger a coward. nibali deserved to win but it wasn't impressive at all. can't wait to see him fail in the tour. just like kreuziger did in the giro despite people laughing at me for that claim as well. nibali this years tour? top ten if he's lucky

that's a problem as liqiuigas often overuse youngsters. another good thing betancourt didn't go there yet this year

Fortunately for me, I don't care about your opinion. You don't even know me.

I think you're confused with Andy Schleck.

andy schleck although an ***hole has more class and talent in his left part of his scrotum than nibali in his whole body.

So why doesn't he display it more often ? It will be interesting to see how Nibali goes in the Tour but I expect Schleck to finish ahead of him unless he TTs worse than usual which is unlikely.
