I can't believe someone would seriously be saying that drunk driving is not such a big deal, that accidents happen anyway. Even though you might still be able to drive, your senses are impaired in one way or another slowing down your reaction time.
Of course, many other factors than alcohol do contribute to traffic accidents, but you can't neglect the effect of alcohol. Maybe the accident would have happened anyway, but that's not the point. The point is that when you're consciously upping the risks of getting yourself involved in those situations and harming innocent people I'm going to seriously question that persons integrity and personal ethics.
