Podium ready 😁

Was hoping he takes the next step in his development this Tour and he did. Not the best domestique today but I really think he was struggling a bit. He’s always better at the end of climbs and did some work. With Pogi in yellow they will get the team on the same page. Always good to have a 2nd rider close to your rivals in GC.

The difference in attitude between him and Yates is certainly noticeable.
Yup. I do think though that this is a pretty good scenario for Pog - Yates is now clearly a domestique, and while Ayuso does whats best for Ayuso, Almeida is a loyal dude who can just plow on for ages without blowing up. Perfect scenario now for UAE, I think they needed one of their guys to kinda give it up.

I loved that Mickey Mouse s*it so much, it's one thing them doing it in Catalunya but to see them do it on the grandest stage is just fantastic stuff. Hirschi, Ulissi and Mcnulty will have a friend next season doing the shadow-realm schedule, can't wait to see him on a grainy, bootleg Tiz stream lighting things up for 3rd place and a good UCI points haul against Brambilla, Mark Donovan and Q36.5 Fausto in some 2.2 Italian classic nobody has ever heard of.

Probably be more of a contest than this Tour is anyway. He saved Primoz Roglic's entire race today with a really mediocre pull.

Oh yeah that pull! Pogi was like fucque this and took off on his own

Yup, if they really dug deep there. Roglic is out of the back and loses at least 1.30. Same thing if Landa doesnt close the gap, but on the other hand, Roglic really isn't on Pog's radar. Its only Vingegaard, and I think now, Remco to some extent.

Hate that this thread got hijacked by haters. Disgusting.

Back to the theme of the thread, good performance today. Shame that Almeida decided that his hate for Juan and his theatrics is what people are focusing on.

Juan as always, struggling a bit on the first days of the GT, but he saved it without losing a lot of time.

Matxin said that Yates told him that he was having a bad day and that he wanted to go first because he didn't have it today.
