I never said Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe is actively riding against Rogla. For Ayuso i am sure that he would pull for Rogla and on top of that they are after next Max Verstappen of cycling, youngsters hence should be lining up.

P.S. As for Rogla changing teams again, no need for that ATM.
But you and others could, considering we saw how it went between Ayuso and Pogacar.

Considering Enrico Massi is no longer a rider at TdF, Ayuso would be perfect for Movistar. As would C-Rod, but Ineos somehow got the signature last year. But it seems like a no-brainer to get Ayuso on Movistar at this point tbh with the the way things are looking internally at UAE at the minutes and the plethora of weapons they have available. And after the Vuelta, he won't talk about him no more, but Del Toro instead..

I never really understood that to begin with. Youre insanely driven, yet you sign a long ass extension with UAE with Pog on their hand? Very confusing, especially if youre not even willing to do any kind of job for that rider. Even more puzzling from UAE to even select him instead of doing a classic Vuelta-only schedule where you can fit loads of really good 1 week stage races and then do the slow buildup after Suisse/Dauphine with Burgos + San Sebastian

Perhaps he's so ambitious / confident that he thought he'd be better than Pogacar in a couple of years?
Movistar make sense from a roster point of view but I reckon they don't have the money to buy him out.

I was 100% with you til the last part. Ayuso is 21 years old. He doesn’t have to worry about turning into Geraint Thomas anytime soon.

If it’s this year, that’s great. If not, he’s still got 4 years until he no longer qualifies for the white jersey.
Time is on his site 100%. I only wanted to slightly criticize that Ayuso has wasted that benefit rather carelessly in the last 2 years!

Despite the comment from Giannetti, Ayuso has been added to the Vuelta roster on PCS for some reason. Not sure if they are just assuming or is they are basing it on some contradictory info from somewhere.

That was expected outcome. I even said before the race, Ayuso is too young, to pull. In such way we all expected Pogi will be supported at this Tour edition, he needed a line up of veterans instead. It just doesn't work like that, they were asking for trouble, doing it like that. On top of that all this talk, from team, on how he will now be punished, not riding Vuelta. This talk won't work, all BS, he will ride Vuelta.

Please no!

It's an opportunity and if they are smart they will make an offer.

Of course Ayuso is going to be present at the 2024 Vuelta a Espana!

Gianetti's statement is the most open way possible to say: "Get in shape muthafucka!"

It's up to Ayuso and his reaction now. If he trains properly and is in race winning condition of course UAE takes him to Spain. If he capitulates, because he's out anyway and flirts with other teams instead he won't be in Spain.

Character test. As simple as that.
