No one tried to break anyone.

There were about 4 GC moves all race:

Pozzovivo to Lago Laceno
Hesjedal with 3km to go to Cervinia
Rodriguez with 2km to go to Resinelli
Basso attempting to but dropping no one on Giau
Hesjedal with 3km to go Pampeago

Stelvio anyone who was still around was happy to sit on CVV then Hesjedal's pace, of course Purito snuck his usual cheap attack in at the end.

The pain of just remembering that race  Luckily we have the Sky machine this time.

No... unless I'm not remembering correctly. Maybe you can tell me where they tried.

The most concerted attempt came from a man 5 minutes down on GC on the final day of racing, that says it all.

No: my memory is poor at naming specific stages. For example I could describe Ferrari taking out Cav but couldn't name the stage number or town. My impression of the later mountains stages was Rodriguez and the Italians (Pozzovivo, Basso, Cunego and Scarponi) in varying combinations, trying to gap Hesjedal ahead of the final time trial.

That said this may have been formed by Harmon and Kelly (I think it was those two) trying to dress it up as Hesjedal being ganged up on so the local boys could divide the spoils up amongst themselves.

Correct. That Mortirolo/Stelvio was a bitter dissappointment. I believe Rodriguez made one silly tempo move on the Mortirolo and that was it.

Must be said: Liquigas domestiques were very poor.

Hesjedal was the pink jersey for half the race and blatantly one of the 2 strongest riders. How the fuque was he not going to get attacked?

I did, and I'm English, not Canadian, it wasn't a critical comment, it wasn't negative towards Italians or Spanish, I made no slurs about them, I'm no supporter/fan of Hesjedal so please don't read such negativity into my posts.

Cool guys.... cool.

Sorry, just winds me up when I get this 'anglo having a go at the continentals' stuff

I'm English, I'm European so I associate closely with Italians, Spanish and French. Plus I sell their wine for a flippin' living

Except it it wasn't, and I found it offensive. You don'#t know me at all, don't condescend to know my motications. FGL and Ferminal were engaged in the conversation and saw it for what it was, you came out and said I was Jeremy Clarkson. It is far more revealing about your prejudices than mine.

Meh don't play the "I'm hurt" card. Of course you said more in your original comment than in the subsequent flapping, but others can draw their own conclusions.

Hey hasn't that post been edited btw? Oh right by admin.

Still barking little dog? The only thing edited of mine was **** off.

You know when you tell someone what they mean on the basis of their race or culture there's a name for that right? So you assume motive on the basis of me being an 'anglo', a chauvinistic, xenophobic caricature you create of me based on a character you've seen on TV. I repeat: TV.

The irony is by saying that you've exposed yourself as a bigot. I work in Europe, I visit their countries and import their wine to a very appreciative clientele, who in turn visit their countries, drink their wine, eat their food and enjoy their culture. Not everyone here is like that, but it is the same for every country: there is good and bad.

Shame you can't see that, shame you can't simply acknowledge you made a mistake and misjudged me.
