it's been 2 days without tweets for JV, not a word after the Ventoux stage and today rest day

Im looking forward to see what JV has to say about the whole "speeds are down" theory and the fact that his Garmin riders are getting destroyed on every MTF and ITT.

I can understand that he is a bit busy at the moment though :D

You could always call him. Or send him a text.

He hasn't changed his number.

And he'll respond. :)

so JV, Brailsford has opened up to the world, he wants people to tell him what they have to do to prove to everyone they are not doping/cheating!

What do you think they can do prove that Froome is clean and can beat the times up climbs of former dopers?

Can you suggest a person of absolute intergrity to look at their data?

Should they be sending their samples to a particular lab?

C'mon mr MBA lets be hearing from ya and an 'I don't know' is not deemed acceptable.

C'mon lets catch another big fish in cycling and really put the scares into the other teams to make it a little bit more cleanER.

Hey JV why retweet this?

Lucas Euser ‏@lucaseuser 37m

Lots of ppl talking about Froome doping. What about Sky's budget being a gorillian x's more than other teams? Budget & salary are big issues

Retweeted by Jonathan Vaughters

Does big budgets imply big doping? Does big salaries imply big doping?

Have Sky bought ASO and UCI off? Is this why Sky do so well at other ASO events PN CI CdD) leading up to the TdF?

budgets ? really ?

then why the katusha budget (including rusvelo) that by all known accounts is second to none in cycling brings them little more than a string of positive doping tests ? jv needs to explain THAT.

JV got excited that someone finally tweeted his favourite question about sky

If only JV had more money, his riders could climb like Armstrong too

Strange that money makes riders better.

But Giro winner, Ryder, chooses to stay with a 2nd tier funded team like Garmin.

If he went and rode for more money elsewhere, surely he would become a better rider?

A better example is BMC, which bought a huge number of top level riders. Its roster reads like a who's who.

Meanwhile, Sky spent its money on a nobody like Froome, who miraculously turned into a butterfly, and the riders which did cost big bucks, like EBH, never made it out of their chrysalises.

Don't worry Race Radio and JV are out there on the Sky payroll. Richie did pay for lunch after all.

The Dawg's Ventoux was completely normal because it was slower than Mayo's ITT

Where does the -12% come from? That is not what I am seeing from various estimates. What is more if Froome is at -12% and the rest of the contenders are at -20% then Froome is still 10% better than everyone else. Sounds legit.

This looks like the start of a new PR tactic, a version of the Big Lie technique. They will simply assert that the power numbers are lower and hope no one questions why the time is just as fast as the transfusion era.

I agree.

I find it borders on duplicitous when claims like this are made - by people with some semblance of authority - without providing links to sources, etc. Even if the source is evident due to currently published material, context is soon lost.

Bad form.

Mayo's start ramp was half a meter long for his ITT up Ventoux. Froome's starting ramp was 220km long.

Race Radio has sold out :(

Indeed starting to have the looks of it.
It was striking how he felt a need to downplay the importance of Leinders a couple of days ago here in the clinic.

What’s sad is the Clinic is pure. Its not owned by a team or a rider.

Race Radio has being using the Clinic for his own means. Getting access to Sky and purporting their advertising under the guise of “insider access”.

Ullrich bad. Lance bad. Sky = good.

Raceradio should be a little more honest with his intentions in posting to the clinic. We’re not here to help him climb the pro cycling corperate ladder.

i also believe to recall him using the "there's no evidence, so let's not go there" line somewhere (either here or on twitter), though i might be mixing him up now with david walsh.

I must admit i know little to nothing of his background. Is he a salesman?

Lol again, the Irish fellow getting spanked again, this time in a ITT, all at the hands of the squeaky clean brigade:

Martin said yesterday he cares more about getting a stage win than defending 11 th on gc. That time isn't that bad though. Probably went about 90%

Really hog, raceradio may be genuine in his opinions, just because you disagree with him doesn't mean you have to impune his motivations without basis.
