Oh, thanks for the clarification I thought JV was holding up a piece of bacon there (yum yum). Maybe the piece of bacon that he pulled from the back of the blood analyzing machine after it had done its job greasing stuff up and creating yet another infamous "MCE" :D

it has dual utiliy.

bacon and smoke up ur @rse, whats not to like. even April Macy would get some of that.

tend to agree.
it gives him and his followers the perfect alibi to continue to ignore and dismiss the valid issues raised here in the clinic.

Both true.

But.

His sudden change in Professor Vaughters is a major chocker. Too much to handle for a lot, it looks like.

People moch the interview on Velonews but to be frank JV is there finally saying what we have always been saying: the Biopass is a bandwith doping tool. Dont overdo it and you will be fine.

Re: attacking him for looks.
Well there was that infamous account set up by a person who put who he thought was me and my wife up for public show. It was neither me nor 'my wife.' Jv thought it was me and in an argument basically said that person was ugly as he thought it was me.

Btw I have zero issues with him firing back at me. He was entitled to. But just giving above some further context.

Really?

JV comes of as such a wanker sometimes.

Edit: I prefer when the forum changes curse words to ***** than "custard"

Well JV? Rohan Dennis faster than the EPO era!! That is some crazy adaptive physiology with a big dose of Machine Calibration Error thrown in for good measure............................

That's like saying LeMond was faster than the EPO era in the 1989 ITT. Technically true, but quite possibly hollow once you look at the circumstances.

Using the average speed of a single stage as a gauge, especially a short ITT, is all sorts of flawed.

There's a middle ground between dismissing something and jumping to conclusions. And I still maintain that looking just at the average speed of a stage is flawed. There's too many variables, which is why real analysts focus on climb times.

In case you forgot, it was snakeoil salesman JV, who used the speeds are down to sell clean cycling. It works both ways. TT are still a good way to judge 'performances'.

wow that's low, and it's not the only example.
the way he welcomed back hamilton in '08, for instance, similarly low to the ground.
still, we probably shouldn't sink to the same level in here if we want people to take this place seriously.

why take the clinic seriously when we cannot take the sport seriously?

The clinic is a mirror of the sport.

you definitely got a point there.
still, i always have the hope that there's a chance that journos might pick up some of the arguments/facts presented in here.

Lol at benotti69. The most evil dopers ever all got beaten by clean Pinot by 35secs!!

Everyone must be dying to get on garmin's most extensive, cutting-edge doping program.

Lol BigDoopie, Pinot clean? yuh, right, those French guys are the cleanest guys out there.........ask Hinault ;)

JVs internal testing probably lagging behind new PEDs, but didn't stop Ryder outperforming everyone, bar Astana, in the 3rd week of the Giro........cutting edge, duuuude.

but it did not subvert the internal testing processes did it? the second and third week or Wiggins and Ryder's blood numbers were "skewy" for wont of a word.

but JV redefined how "skewy" was defined and interpreted for anti-doping, it was like an Orwell newspeak.

like Millar and Wiggins in the 2007 Tour debut with Garmin Chipotle. when the French ADA target tested them in the first week.

So JV introduces into the Oxford dictionary a new Orwellian term MCE, the acronym for "machine calibration error"!!!

Hey JV, why did MPCC not kick out Astana after finding out it had a team doping program?

What's that? You would all look like hypocrites...............ta.

JV doesn't decide what the MPCC does He's not even actively involved any more other than his team being a member. You should ask Roger Legay about Astana.
