Sure... start a new thread in the forum and we will pop in to say hello in a week or two.

It's a serious question. I was assurred it would be too late to do a blood transfusion after the Giro. Now Landis is saying it can be done after the Daphine!

Also, does it sound true that Armstrong would ignore Dr Ferrari'a advice and carry on taking EPO?

Come on, guys?

The key point is if anything can be corroborated and journalists and investigators can make this stick. Landis' credibility then is moot: doesn't matter. Shooting the messenger is an old sport.

The point is the quality of the evidence.

Honestly, I'm not so sure the quality of the evidence matters all that much - in the court of public opinion, at least. After a decade of fits, starts, and alleged indisputable evidence of doping, it becomes a lot easier to dismiss the evidence. When any investigation starts with McQuaid throwing the lead witness under the bus, it's not hard to see where the story might go.

I hope FL is forced to pay back all of the folks that contriubted to the Floyd Fairness Fund. He raised, what, $500k to support his bout of "innocence". This people have got to feel duped! If I contributed, I'd be mad as hell!

I don't think you can dismiss the story completely just because it doesn't comport with your understanding of doping or b/c it comes from a proven liar.

on the other hand, I don't think you can accept all the alleged info as fact just because it fits people's preconceived notions of the riders involved.

Well he did ignore Johans advice and gave his consent to the UCI to allow a reporter to look at his doping control papers from the UCI so,..........

Nah....Floyd is still maintaining his innocence on that front! he still claims the 2006 test was wrong.

Crazy as a loon? Sure. But that's the wagon he's hitching his story to.

Also note that in Floyds email, he specifically mentions The former Mrs Armstrong TWICE.

To anyone who thinks this is a matter of whether or not Floyd is a liar, the detail given takes this out of his hands. Reporters and Investigators will do the heavy lifting from this point foreward. This is too big to be swept under the rug. Too many people would have to keep the same lie. Ths will blow up much larger. It will fun to watch.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retracts all this in a few days. It has the whiff of someone on the edge.

He's claims on blood transfusions have come instuck already.

It's a desperate plea for attention.

I think your posting is more desperate than anything else I have seen.

Floyd maybe you should say sorry to all the guys going up Dehesa Road when you proclaimed that "I swear to God and on my mother's life. I didn't do it". As far as all the beer garden trips to raise money for your legal fees you should give that money back also. I hope you have it in the bank because if refunds are coming from your winnings the refunds will be a long time coming. Did you already get a check from Larry King?Jim Rome? I wonder if you jotted in your tell all journals how much cash you pocketed while telling all your "friends" you were wronged. I think saying that you used but not on the day(s) you were caught is very clever..gotta be a little press attention there. If VN and CN are part of your income stream plan I think it fits right in with the rest of your design. Since you are not racing maybe VS can do a quick spot with you during ToC coverage.I can't wait to see what table they put your book on at Barnes and Noble..4 for a dollar may be a little high. They should use your lump of worthless human to plug the oil well. If you get a job at a taco or burger shop I hope they keep an eye on you. People of San Diego and Riverside beware if Landis gets a job at a car wash and the coins in the ash tray or console are missing you know where to look.

Stimulants.

Kelly is not trashing him. He's just saying it's hard to work out.

Yes - PEDs.... also don't forget the PDM affair with the faulty EPO.

They are finding it hard to work out - they are only now quoting the proper article from the WSJ.

Funnily enough, at the time, a cyclist friend of mine who's a doctor, works with bio assays (whatever they are!), told me that he didn't really think Flandis's T/E ratio test failure was reliable given the incredibly low absolute values involved.

For anyone wondering why they were using andriol you may look at the good Dr Ferraris ideas about that drug. It is well known that he had his athletes take it. I think the main reason for it is andriols clearance time, don't forget they are just using it to help with recovery, nothing else, so large doses of test are not required.

Remember everyone, in the articles, it has been said that the Federal investigators that did BALCO are involved. This is going to go the federal committees and its not gonna be pretty when it starts to be found that federal, taxpayers money has been used to support cheating in sport.

I do hope that journo's do some good investigating cuz this could bring some big light and give people like Andreu credibility back

The USPS is not federally-funded.

Not very helpful. Where's he going to go in life?

You want him to follow Pantani or Jimenez?
