So, LA retiring from the ToC should bring the focus squarely on DZ, LL, GH. Someone should ask them serious questions. Why not ask Levi directly about 1996 to start with?

DZ mumbling,

LL whining,

GH not saying much of anything.

Everything they get is deserved btw.

I have to agree here. I doubt we'll see Armstrong near a race again. The French press will tear him to pieces if he comes there, not to mention what Contador will do to him.

Maybe it is time for him to give the "honest" interview and talk about how he was oversighted in his wanting to win again and it's over...he has been talking all week at TOC how is is outta shape...having trouble ect ect...my guess is he will bow out and try to spn it in another victim way...of a guy coming to real self realization via age ect ect ect...versus and the media will eat it the **** up...

Where is the evidence of possession of a controlled substance in the US?

Distribution?

Conspiracy?

Racketeering?

Methinks you are just tossing charges against the wall of public opinion in the hopes that one sticks.

Bribery of foreign officials is illegal. Daimler just paid the DOJ $185M to resolve a bribery case.

Density of granite.

Their sponsor was the federal govt. They will want to know what happened.

What in the wide world of sports are you talking about? Their team was never sponsored by federal dollars.

No, I think it's completely preposterous.

I don't have any opinion of the crash, it's pretty far fetched-to assume they'd do that.

I have never in my life seen a rider of Armstrong's importance to the overall for Levi pulled BEFORE x-rays came back though. Usually it's "we are going to see how he feels and see what the x-rays show and try and continue"...

He's off to continue his PR defense and examine his legal exposure at this point. He has no choice. If you think he's quitting because he's hurt, you probably believe every other lie he's told.

Actually, their sponsor was USPS...not feds...there is a difference....the very idea that Postal Inspectors will look into this is ridiculous at best (and this is who it will fall on)...I work for USPS...there is no way...they love the image of strongarm like every other corporate brothel he has taken money from...

Well, you'd need some evidence of bribery of foreign officials in order to charge someone with bribing foreign officials.

Are you thinking that McQuaid qualifies as a foreign official under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act?

I might as well start his angle. The only way out of this for Lance is the same way out for Floyd, Kohl, Zulle, Manzano, Papp, etc.

Lance needs to finally confess.

whilst that is true i doubt the ego will let him

He doesn't have the option to decide to continue after the X-rays come back.

I can't believe what I've just heard on Newstalk.ie.

McQuaid dropping the Armstrong denier phrases - "most tested athlete" and "never tested positive"
