Is there footage from the sprint?

I want to see if there is Bouhanni standard and other riders standard.
I didnt see any intention from Groenewegen to cut someone off, he had to swerve around Debusschere in full sprint and his angle was slidely sideways to the finish after that. Where Bouhanni will sprint straightforward and if he feels an opponent coming will steer harshly toward him to block him. Naessen also just rode a stupid sprint.

Groenewegen sprint wasn't really straighforward : https://twitter.com/CyclingHubTV/status/782598975555833856

Debusschere did even less in Koolskamp last year vs. Groenewegen. Debusschere got a DSQ. Difference: Groenewegen crashed & Naesen didn't.

Yeah, he definitely did less.

The elbow is after they touch, so yes.
Groenewegen tries to go in a gap that doesn't exist.

Naesen didn't today, there was definitely a gap. Groenewegen closed it cause he was cooked.

Groenewegen was still in the middle of the road once he passed Debusschere. It's clear as daylight he was well aware someone was coming from the left and therefore kept on swerving sideways. Not uncommon instincts in a sprint after a very hard race from a guy (especially a real winner) who's totally dead and can smell the win, and that's why I don't really blame Groenewegen, but it shouldn't be allowed obviously.

That said, I have no idea why Naesen was almost doing track stands inside the final k when he still had such a strong sprint in the legs. I mean.. surely he must have been confident against Lampaert and Wynants?

What a baby. In the interview after the race Naesen said he always thought Groenewegen was an idiot, but now he thinks hes a total moron (roughly translated). Whats moronic is that sur place he did in the last k when he had a 30 second lead over the chase group.

A stupid move of the lead group that diminshed their own chances doesn't excuse the stupid move of a sprinter that not only ruined another guy's chances, but also nearly brought him down. Groenewegen should've been relegated. End of story.

One month ago, you wanted Bouhanni to be disqualified from cycling.

Please. Don't be hypocritical.

My obvious Dutchie bias aside, theres no way you can compare Bouhanni's various attempted murders with Groenewegen's sprint today. Im also 100% sure this wouldnt have happened if he didnt have to pass the escapees and Debusschere in full sprint at the end there.

Karma...most stupid race action of the year from Naesen, so he got punished for that :p

Really? I think it's stupid that the strongest rider today was not awarded. And when a sprinter uses his elbows in that fashion (clearly leaning more sideways then in normal sprints) you know he's intentionally blocking an upcoming man.

What Groenewegen did was worse than half the *** Bouhanni or Zakarin has been dqed for.

An arrogant sprinter he is, but so far he has only won small races. Sprinters really are the most unlikable type of cyclists out there.
