Bonifazio wins, Albanese second again. Viviani and Cavendish both completely out of position.

Hodeg finished eighth, was in good position but didn't have much of a sprint left. Still, that's a lot better than I'd hoped for.
Caruso in 5th in a bunch sprint. Must be incredibly high level there.
Giro d'Italia 2012 Stage 9 results
Giro d'Italia 2012 Stage 9 from San Giorgio nel Sannio to Frosinone was won by Francisco José Ventoso before Fabio Felline and Giacomo Nizzolo. Ryder Hesjedal was leading the general classification.www.procyclingstats.com
Proves my point about the high level haha
Herzog had cramps, likely could've done much better. Form looking good for Liege though, race should fit him like a glove. Graat might be Jumbo's most intriguing project currently. He's a footballer, who hasn't been in the game all that long. For many, covid was a disaster, but it's likely changed Graat's life for the better. He was riding for a very small club in Limburg, and due to covid KNWU had a few spots open for a race in Slovenia, where they invited him. He got 2nd in GC. In lockdowns he was posting huuuuge numbers on Zwift, and Jumbo, being fascinated by the numbers game, didn't hesitate.![]()
Jumbo’s sponsors must be fuming at the Gp Palio del Recioto, an U23 race in Italy. Bardiani finished 2-3-4 and Emil Herzog finished seventh.
One day earlier Staune-Mittet won the Giro del Belvedere (the team had 3 guys in a group o 13 and played the numbers game). De Pretto won the sprint for 2nd 10sec behind him, ahead of Van Belle an Graat. Bardiani's 2 best u23 guys Martinelli and Pellizzari didn't race that one, one day later they were part of the Bardiani trio that finished 2-3-4.Herzog had cramps, likely could've done much better. That being said, Jumbo Devo is very saddening in a way. Some of their riders should have no business still being in the U23 category, like JSM. As a result, Menno Huising is being forced into a helpers role, while he should just be discovering himself. Better luck next year when JMS, Hagenes, Van Belle, Graat(?) turn pro? Nope, because then Jorgen Nordhagen and Jonas Hoydahl join the party, and who knows whomever else they'll sign (Theodor Storm e.g.).

I do wonder if riding the u23 LBL as one of the only 2 national teams will hurt the Italian riders chances, since most of the guys usually ride against eachother and are probably less willing to work for eachother (mainly looking at Martinelli, De Pretto and Villa, who are all good on shorter climbs and have a decent sprint).
Marsman won stage 1 of the Tour du Loir et Cher. Unfortunately, neither Planet nor Pluto are in the race.
Neither is Venus Williams. Nor Neptune the sea God.
He rides for Zalf, who are a good team when it comes to developing riders. Not everyone who rides for them is a world beater, but those who don't end up at modern day Bardiani are usually capable pros. Battaglin, Colbrelli, Moscon, Mozzato, Battistella, Vendrame, Velasco, Conci Zambanini are some examples over the years, they are a capable team. De Pretto also finished 3rd in the u23 EC RR last year and was the best CX rider in the Italian junior ranks.De Pretto rode as a stagiare for Jayco in 2022 - He's building up some good results, however I wonder if Jayco will be gun-shy after signing Colleoni and Zana - I exclude Sobrero because he was already proven in the WT when signed by Jayco.
Graat did the same for guys like Staune-Mittet and Archie Ryan last year. It doesn't seem to have hindered his development...That being said, Jumbo Devo is very saddening in a way. Graat and Huising are not comparable in the slightest. Did you even read the post you quoted?Graat did the same for guys like Staune-Mittet and Archie Ryan last year. It doesn't seem to have hindered his development...
Yes, I know he's a very inexperienced rider. So if even Graat can evolve from a helper into a leader so quickly, it shouldn't be too long before Huising does the same... if he's good enough. I think in races like Olympia's Tour he's not used as a domestique, btw. But there he crashed out.Graat and Huising are not comparable in the slightest. Did you even read the post you quoted?
The two profiles that you posted are 1. La Malate, and going all the way to the lookout is some Super-Planche thing that my people in Pinotland like to doDon't think I've ever seen a series of three one-day races with uphill finishes that hard.
I believe the Larmont MTF is the first 6.5k of this profile:

Whereas the finish of the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs is a little higher up than the Climbbybike profile shows:

The first two races are both broadcast live and available on GCN (amongst others), sadly it looks like it's a highlight package only for Tour du Doubs.
Apparently Remco will not be riding Amstel Gold Race after all!
