So, he meant Elfstedenrace?

24 riders in the break, among them Thijssen, Herregodts, Van der Hoorn, Van Sintmarkensdijk, and... errr... Intermarché Wanty!
Probably Huub Artz since the vast majority of the riders in the leading group were present in an original move of 13 riders.

The move is great for Wanty, hope Thijssen manages to finish it off.

It was reported as 1:10 when I posted, but it definitely looks over for G2 now.

Advantage in half now, around 1'30 so it's still possible with this long headwind part. Very possible it splits again in the last 20km tho.

EDIT: 2nd group is basically same size as first group and also not really cooperating so I don't think they'll be coming back

Groenewegen is poor in cross winds for a big, strong Dutch rider. I see him leading the peleton in group two, when he should have retired to focus on tomorrows race.

It thought it would be done with the big teams having a guy in there, but front group isn't going all out and 2nd group coming closer again. only 20s>. Rijnders not riding in first group, understandable with Walscheid behind.

Also some serious motopacing for the 2nd group for some reason cause it's not even the camera motor doing it

Laporte's race to lose obviously if this group makes it, but how good would a Krijnsen win in his own backyard or a Van der Hoorn win after 18 months of recovery be?

Crash in 2nd group. That either ends the chase or it makes Intermarché going full as they have 2 guys in the 2nd group of like 5 riders.

Looks like it is ending the chase.
