That one might've annoyed me even more than that Basque sprint where Ethan Hayter found himself in a reduced group of 30 after a difficult climb with a bunch of small guys then just sat at the back doing nothing so Carlos Rodriguez had to go for a flyer. Notable flat sprinter Gregoire won.

Two TDF winners Bernal and Thomas leading him out then looking around confused as he's lost the wheel was also a classic, might've been Catalunya that one.

Alexander kristoff BEAST MODE

Viviani giving cees bol sunweb 2020 TDF vibes
Bol finished second in one of those Tour sprints and third in another, then won a Paris-Nice one at the start of 2021. It was only after that that he turned into a meme-tier rider.

Four out of seven UAE riders 12+ minutes down today, including Molano (what happened to him this year?). Watch them win GC with McNulty anyway.

That one was hilarious. He fought all day to make it to the finish with the front group only to be like "Nah, I'm not gonna sprint today".

Kristoff and the other sprinters probably cant survive stage 4? Seems like the rest of the stages will be group sprints..

I created a separate thread for the CRO race because I only found out about it this morning and wasn't familiar with any of the stage profiles for comparison. So if nothing else folk can look up all the profiles there and continue the discussion here...

Surely, Anders Foldager didn't finish 4th in a bunch sprint?!
He's not exactly Jayco's Quick man for this race.

And he can from a million miles behind at the 200m and had no team support. The team is hoping he can get over the climb in stage three, however I doubt it.

Come on mate I am taking about sunweb giving him the absolute best leadouts and then him getting totally swamped by Bennett, Ewan and wva, 3rd Vs 5th doesn't matter. Same vibes today

De Lie perfect timing and positioning for once. Philipsen had tongo early or they would come faster from behind. Nice try.

Girmay 2nd.
