Lotto 2 2nd places today, but nice try by Van Gils - rocketed up the last climb, but fortune favours the brave and McNulty made it back on, so chapeau! Izagirre 4 th so not bad by the 35 year old.

I ve done that descent. It short but really complicated for a race...more wet...It is no a good idea to put that descent so decissive. It was better when they finished at the Puy, a little climb

Onley not too bad in his first race back from getting injured in Australia, either.

Really? I like that they are somewhat reserved and quieter without apparent bluster and loudness (to help reverse American tourist stereotype).

That hairpin by Van Gils is the single worst hairpin I've ever seen taken. Lost like 3s in one corner.

I just rewachted the final and you can see Van Gils his backwheel slipping just before that exact hairpin. So he almost crashed seconds before that hairpin. I doubt he had any grip.

I dont understand IPT...I think Woods had a problem, but his first rider wasnt top 40, and they are Happy they controlled the race and made attack at the end...yes, one attack, if you save the riders maybe can position leaders better at the end and hace more people to attack. Maybe i lose something, but they use to control races without the favourite if they are not at the break...quite stupid.

Fair enough. They both just look like they are wanting the interview to be over as soon as possible. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would imagine the team would prefer my dynamic interviews.
