What does this even mean? What is a modern cyclist?

the way he made his way up to the top teams. from the Ag2r devo team, when he learned French so fast, then Movistar, wanting to step up and taking care of his own training, aero session, altitude camp, paying with his own money. then the Oman win, the way he got better and better, working on his strenght, winning Dwars, and Paris-Nice.

Massive respect without a doubt.

Jorgenson on Visma is probably the best fit of any rider on any team ever. Their approach doesn't work for everyone, but it certainly does for him.

Looking good today, ready to defend his title. So yesterday was probably down to the weather.

All the best American riders have almost completely abandoned the US system, gone to Europe, got a useable education and made enormous strides !! Matteo is just another, Kuss, Riccitello, Lamperti, and others all riding well because they went to the racing before it was too late!! USACycling needs to buy a house in Belgium, not rent one!!!
I feel bad for Jonas Vingegaard, but regardless of the injury and drop out, Jorgenson was riding better!! Very powerful and positive racer

I have little doubt that Vingegaard would have gotten the better of Jorgenson on the climbs, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Nonetheless I think Jorgenson is developing into a great leader for this team. Is he really that much worse than Van Aert, as far as chances for the Monuments are concerned? I don't think so.
