So must be disappointed with his Ardennes campaign

Plus if Michael Matthews goes to SKY next year as reported where will that leave Kwaito?

Where has this Michael Matthews stuff come from? This is the type of guy who will want support for Tour stages which isn't possible at Sky. I don't see that move happening at all.

Kwiatkowski's season is pretty much resembling last year's. A semi-classic win and then very little else. He'll need to be much better at the Dauphine to ride the Tour.

Meh, he just doesn't ride well in cold and snow. Unfortunately this season has been full of it. That has to change, or Michal will have to adjust his schedule. He is going to make up for Ardennes by medaling in Rio

That's a big ask. Even if he was climbing the way he did in 2013, I doubt he could get a medal in Rio.

However disappointing and concerning was his Ardennes campaign, you should know that he was ill in Blegium. He didn't recover for Romandie and topped that with stomach flu. Changing teams was also stressful for him. He's a good kid, sometimes too ambitious and too stubborn, but he'll find a way back to the top. He's not even 26 yet.

Training hard in Tenerife. I hope he will surprise everyone with improved climbing in 2nd part of the season
His job will be to lead Poels, G and Landa onto the final climb so hope so.
Wasn't that what EBH used to do?

Look how that turned out for EBH's career trajectory.

One of my favorite riders (when in form), sadly that is not the case too often. He is one of the smartest riders in the peloton. I and don't mean IQ or something but race-smarts. He knows when to attack but he's so so inconsistent that it's very frustrating rooting for him. On his day he could beat anyone on almost every terrain. High mountains being the exception of course. But he is so versatile, he is a monster on short clims, he can time trial, sprint, gets over cobbles and still is a decent climber overall. He got an 11th place on his maiden Tour remember. I really hope he gets his form back soon. So far he had a solid February and E3 for Sky. But in "his" races, the Ardennes", he struggled for the 2nd year in a row which is concerning. He needs to find the perfect buildup for his targets! Maybe he can work his magic again in he second part of the season.

Does he have the same thing as Poels? Brilliant on good days, embarrassing poor on bad days? Just compare his performance on Jaizkibel last week with yesterdays ride, just within a week

Michał rooting for Niewiadoma, Jasinska and Plichta. :)

Kwait problem is he wanted to be a GT GC rider and he went to SKy ....where upon he stared following their diet regime ....and low and behold he got sick ....Landa got sick...Last year Roche got sick...
This be as lean as you can diet does not suit all riders

Kwait shoudl forget GT GC and go for cobbles races/one day races...he cearly has the ability ...not dramtic weight loss needed ...

When he joined Sky he lost 5 kg and had a blank year. This year, he regained his weight and is doing well. It's a good news for us the fans, he's an agressive rider and will do great at the ardenaises.
The same thing happened to EBH, Henao and G. Thomas, so Sky should learn from this.
