Steve Albini wipes the floor with all else. It doesn't get filthier, heavier or messier than this without carrying a surgeon's general warning.

Rapeman - Troser Minnow, huh. Yeah, I agree. But, you know, the instrumental, if you want to call it that, was interesting. Someone should do that to a clean version. BTW Troser is missing the "w" (Tro_ser). :D

I have several of those kind of sisters. Great tune though.

I remember I had watched a movie about the history of metal and found it funny how Dee Snider had defended his song "Under the Blade" accused of sadomasochism in the 80th. As I don't remember what a movie it was and not wanting to distort the quote i'll give it from the wikipedia:

Snider said about "Under the Blade", a song Snider claimed was written about an impending surgery, that "the only sadomasochism, bondage, and rape in this song is in the mind of Ms. Gore." He stated, "Ms. Gore was looking for sadomasochism and bondage, and she found it. Someone looking for surgical references would have found it as well."

Here is one of the songs that had highly unfairly  "fallen from grace" at that times too:

AC/DC - Let Me Put My Love Into You

The guitar players in Mr. Big were really good....Gilbert non-cyclist and billy sheehan.

Yep, they are both good guitarists, though i have never listened to Sheehan's solo works (i know they exist), so i should... maybe ;)

As far as I remember D-A-D were pretty close to breaking in the US with the 'No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims' album and especially the classic single 'Sleeping My Day Away' and the follow-up album 'Riskin' It All'. But for some reason they never really did get that breakthrough. But at least they're Danish legends, which is something I guess. That's like being the Nico Eeckhout of hard rock - huge on a lower level :D

I've never been much of a fan myself, I admit, but I did own 'Helpyourselfish', which was quite decent. But really not my thing at all.

Anyway, now I'm listening to Jason Molina - 'Let Me Go, Let Me Go, Let Me Go'. Probably one of the starkest and bleakest albums I've heard. It's almost unbearable to sit through, but if one's in the appropriate masochistic mood, it'll work wonders, I suppose. As Molina sings, "alone with the owls howling pain, pain, pain". NOT a party album.
