This is the rumored Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe redesign kit for the TdF this year:

I can’t believe that this will be the jersey.
I really hope that it is fake. I mean…why to pay designers right…all you have to do is to take a blue shirt and put the names of your sponsors on it. Ridiculous boring.
Damn, I should've known that. I tought it might be the secret love-child of Charlie Chaplin and Albert EinsteinMillennial replying, it's Gianni Savio.
Too bad because Bora’s new kit introduced this year has an interesting color and pattern—certainly outside the standard fare. Now they’ll have. . . black.
I still can’t believe that this will be the final RedBull jersey. Eventhough several sources apparently confirm it (GCN, wielerfits,..) I remain skeptical.Raymond Kerckhoffs confirms the above kit is real:
BORA-hansgrohe krijgt Max Verstappen-look voor Tour de France
Begin deze maand werd al bekend dat Red Bull vanaf de komende Tour de France naamsponsor van het WorldTeam BORA-hansgrohe wordt. Inmiddels heeft WielerFlits het shirt doorgespeeld gekregen waarmee de Duitse ploeg van plan is om in de Ronde van Frankrijk te koersen. Red Bull komt op de kleding...www.wielerflits.nl

1) RedBull is a marketing genius. Cycling is very hyped right now and with a nice and fashionable cycling kit your marketing opportunities are just better. Just ask Canyon/Sram or other women teams who started to wear fancy kits years ago.
2) check the sponsors and partners on the jersey: the GRENKE icon has a complete different style on the leaked one…it’s just wrong. Also BOSS is no current jersey partner. This would mean that BOSS increased their sponsorship by several million € AND BORA reduces their sponsorship by several million. I mean…BORA would not agree to have less visibility for the same money.
Just too many weird things for me.
If it ends up to be the correct one, well then it’s just boring and I expected way more from the RedBull marketing machine
No.will UAE-Emirates need to change its white jersey not to clash with the TDF white jersey? I hope so
Will Visma continue it's TdF special kit tradition of late?

Gen X here. That doesn't help.Millennial replying, it's Gianni Savio.
It's mandatory to change if the colors are to similar to the leaders jersey. EF did it for the Giro. For secondary jerseys, there is no need to change. Will Visma continue it's TdF special kit tradition of late?
It just feels like they're leaving it later than normal, and they're happily riding the Dauphine in yellow, even though it could be considered a clash with the leaders jersey. It's mandatory to change if the colors are to similar to the leaders jersey. 5 or 105, everyone should recognise Toni.Gen X here. That doesn't help.
Ive always assumed it’s only requested for the GTs, and I don’t remember if teams with all red jerseys even modify them for the Vuelta. It just feels like they're leaving it later than normal, and they're happily riding the Dauphine in yellow, even though it could be considered a clash with the leaders jersey.
No team would have a main kit that is primarily yellow, as that is by far the most common leader's jersey colour.Ive always assumed it’s only requested for the GTs, and I don’t remember if teams with all red jerseys even modify them for the Vuelta.
Would be expensive if Visma had to come up with new jerseys for Paris-Nice, Dauphine, Le Tour. But it dawns on me as I type that they could make one “alternate” jersey to cover all 3 (& other?) races.
True about protecting the brand recognition. But I thought the same was true for the Giro pink, especially since the original race sponsor, La Gazetta, still prints a pink newspaper (or it was the last time I saw one). But I don’t think there have been as many pro kits in pink aside from EF and old Telekom/T-Mobile, so it doesn’t come up as often? No team would have a main kit that is primarily yellow, as that is by far the most common leader's jersey colour.
But it is only the Tour that insists on this, which makes me assume that it is not about assisting the viewer, nor the original (as I understand it) purpose of riders being aware of The leader's whereabouts, but is all about ASO being protective of their, presumably heavily trademarked, yellow jersey brand image.
