For a dude who has been wrong so many times about legal topics that we've all lost track, you'd think you'd have enough humility to not frame that fact by hypocritically pointing out the single failure of someone else.

Me too - i still think if Landis went alone he could have still done it, but if its true that the Feds are joining its almost a certainty.

If this is true, can LA & co attempt to settle, or will the Feds only be interested in taking this all the way?

I am somewhat surprised, as so far the US justice system has appeared to be kind to those with high-priced "lawyers" with good political connections.

This will undoubtedly be the end to any hopes Lancey-poo had of jumping back on the gravy train.

Ultimately, the final decision was Attorney General Eric Holder's, but there was general agreement to proceed.

I think the connections have run dry...
