You realize that Hamilton didn't expect LA to be in Aspen as it was announced earlier that week Armstrong was off riding an event in Tennessee.

Also - we know from the owner that Hamilton was already dining at his table - while Armstrong was at the bar.
Hamilton had a reservation - Armstrong did not.

You don't need a reservation if out for a drink at your dive.

Keyphrase: "earlier in the week." :D

you are late to the dance young lady
uncalled for.

two posts up from yours she apologised for the comment after i defended those who wear the bracelet... it was never meant to be hateful.

and just because there is a "girl" in her name doesn't mean you need to be a patronizing a$$.

This is possible, and it happens all the time. Many predatory criminals, ones who use acts of violence in the perpetration of crimes, start off as schoolyard bullies who never get challenged.

I've seen this a million times. Bullies always stay away from guys that can pummel them either by staying clear of them or befriending them in some way, and prey on those they know won't challenge them.

Armstrong has the added incentive of having fanboys and sycophants at his beck and call almost everywhere he goes, so this gives him even more incentive to act like a goon.

Yes, true, and remember all the 'entourage' and 'handlers' that this particular goon travels with. This brings to mind --was it last year--outside the Shack bus when the one fan kept yelling 'cheat' or 'doper' or whatever it was, and Lance got belligerent but someone was there to run interference.

You obviously have a deep understanding of the way a grand jury works.

Yeppers, the way it works is if your a federal employee. (were postal federal employees?). Under the whislte blower law, FL could stand to get some of the booty LA would be fined if so charged. :D

Correct - it was known that Armstrong was away long before Hamilton arrived.

You don't expect to run in to Armstrong if he is riding an event a thousand miles away.

one might assert that LA believes he is above etiquette, which is part of this issue all along

Ya think?:)
In Lance's defense, he has only been that way since puberty.
Lance being Lance. Grrrr.

So Hamilton is no longer allowed to go to places that Armstrong likes?
:

Yep, that would be a good idea lol.
You should probably avoid them too BTW.
Probably not fun places anyway. burp.

Are you saying Hamilton tried to avoid Lance.
Made sure he was thousands of miles away?

Cross-country witness intimidation yikes.
Another indictment.
30-40 indictment so far.
Maybe one will stick.
Any more than one would be gravy.

let me help you out ...

Fans flock to see Armstrong at Tennessee ride

see the date of the ride? Or maybe Lance has an eviler twin?

3:37 AM, Jun. 12, 2011 is last update on the dateline. So the event took place when? 1 am, June 12? No. The article says, the event took place Saturday. Which would have been the 11th. LA would have flown back to Aspen that day then.

See how you have destorted that facts.

:D So you telling me that Tyler Hamilton, in the affilation of Outside Magazine to lead bike tours, just by chance goes to Aspen ( a well-known Armstrong haunt ) and then just happens to goes to dinner at a restaurant the also is a Armstrong favourite?

OK. Yeh. It sounds like a "chance meeting" to me. Yep, it was just by chance. Here I am at your favourite restaurant. Are you happy to see me?

Sounds like Outside and Hamilton were really on a little fishing trip.

Yellow Journalism? Can't find a real story, create one?

"Delmar, you and Pete are dumber than a bag of hammers!"
:D
Dear Tarik Hammer,
A couple of things for you to ponder.
1. Outside Mag contracted services from Hamilton to be performed in Aspen. That might explain why all the Outside reporters/bloggers were in the restaurant as well as Hamilton.
2. There are indications that it was not a chance meeting from Armstrong's point of view. He was in Tennessee that morning from a number of reports noted here and flew to Aspen during the day. The FBI can easily check to see when the flight plan for his jet was filed and if it changed a prior flight plan on file with the FAA.
3. CC is a public place of business that was open to both Hamilton and Armstrong on Saturday evening. If Armstrong touched Hamilton and impeded his movement, that could be interpreted as a form of intimidation. In some jurisdictions, like Massachusetts, mere unwanted touching by another is assault--no common law or statutory battery needed.
4. If Armstrong stated to Hamilton what Hamilton reported to his attorney, Armstrong made clear reference to possible impending Hamilton trial testimony and made remarks relative thereto of an intimidating nature.
5. Lance's friend Jodi the CC part owner would do well to counsult counsel before she says another word lest she be seen as participating in/abetting witness intimidation. If nothing really happened, why would she make a point of telling Hamilton to never return when Armstrong was present in CC at the same time?

Your boy Lance is one stupid bully from Plano, Tarik. A guy who doesn't fear the truth has no need to intimidate others telling the truth.

Say "Hi" to Fabio for me. :p

You should have clicked the article I linked - rather than continuing to show your ignorance.

Monday 13th -"We are pleased to announce that world-famous cycling champion Lance Armstrong will participate in the 2011 Harpeth River Ride!"

Also your hero would not be impressed with your posts.

I sticking with the link to the Tennessean, the event is the same, but not the date which appears to have rescheduled.

To conclude: LA's event in Tennessee was on Saturday, June 11th. He makes a second home in Aspen, CO., especially during the summer. For TH and crew to have known that he wouldn't be home on the 12th is dubious.

But hey, lets go hang out at his bar...maybe we won't see him there.:D

So Hamilton and Outside hatched this plot to ensnare Armstrong by scheduling their visit on a weekend when he was known to be out of town. That was their best shot, the best plan they could come up with.

Makes sense.

I'll give you credit for being smarter than that, so it does beg the question, why are you arguing something you know is nonsense?

It is still

Paris
in the
the spring...

Besides, I thought he retired to spend more time with the kids. Aren't they still in school? Doesn't he have weekend privileges?

(this is not a post about anyone's children...)

Dave.

Stick to that if you want to continue to be wrong.

The incident happened on Saturday the 11th - it was first reported in Grayson Schaffers twitter that evening - so it was the same day as LA was a thousand miles away in Tennessee so Hamilton would not have expected LA to be back in Aspen.
