Totally unrelated to Lance.

Yet, this is topical given how much the fanboys, public strategies, Fabiana (sic) and others try and tell us that 'heralding cancer' is a get out of jail free card.

Here is the most current example of never being above the law:

IMF chief denied bail in hotel sex assault case

Will Lance be denied bail?

Dave.

Lance isn't a big enough flight risk. He can't get that far away on his bike. Although Texas is like "a whole 'nother country", it has submitted to US Jurisdiction since 1865.

Lance is a good risk for bail.

Hope that French minister gets the full measure of justice. Riker's probably woke him up good.

He is already on the Island? WoW....I thought they would take it easy on him and leave in in district somewhere in lower Manhattan.

As I watched DSK being paraded around I has similar thoughts about what Lancey-poo would look like with handcuffs. Call me obsessed.

And the Island is worse than an extended stay in The Tombs?

I have never been to either of them. I just thought they would keep him on Manhattan close to the "halls of justice". My guess is neither is a place to spend any time.

As for LA and the chances of him doing jail time and where.......I doubt or in my opinion he probably will not visit any jail. If he does where will it be? Federal detention California?

The eyes a ****ing scary

As much as the criticisms of LA may be well-deserved, we've always managed to maintain a "no wives or especially kids" rule here in the clinic. Can we maybe try to stick with that and skip the comments on an innocent baby?

I'm definitely no Armstrong fan, but let's leave the little guy out of it.

I think you hyped the clinic too early. There is a lot of stuff, especially from some of the usual suspects and main protagonists of the clinic.
Maybe you missed that.
They have no limits or rules, and delivering disgusting comments and crossing the line are their greatest achievements and it's easiest way to be welcomed here with open arms.

Good to see that you have such a high moral standard yourself.

I appear to have missed it - could you name who those people are and cite some examples?

I agree with MacRoadie - it should be off limits (even when LA himself puts his kids in the spotlight) and it adds nothing to any of the discussions here.

Why would you want them "cited" fcol.
If you missed them good for you.
Hopefully they have been deleted....

I believe he is referring to inappropriate comments about Lance's children and Kristen. While they do pop up once in awhile, you will be hard pressed to find many, and there is usually a good amount of backlash from both sides of the aisle. If we can have a cite, we can identify them and request that a mod delete them.

All comments about his kids go way over any line you care to draw, and any comment about Kik, beyond those directly relating to her involvement in any ongoing investigation, should also be off-limits.

I will vote for a zero-tolerance rule for any comments about ANYONE'S children. It's just plain wrong.

Ja! Such comments should be terminated!

Hey doc, remember last week in the UCI thread when the hog told you to back off and you behaved like a good dog? Be consistent and do that again. If you can't recall here is the post.

http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=13461&page=2

I didn't need to 'back off' - as I had already pointed to the post that the Hog exaggerated, he didn't do your tactic of denying it or putting in rules to address anything.

l trust Cobblestoned won't either.

Doktor Mabuserati, your usual interrogation game starts and ends right here.

I am not as obsessed as you when it comes to Lance, clinic, speaking by links, collecting links, archieving and collecting forumposts, playing boring endless interrogation games and talking around the hot mash while hardly delivering something called "opinion".
And I won't waste one single second to look for those links.

My memory is enough, digging this out makes no sense and is, first of all, not even worth the posts or posters. Those posts and topics are there, I know it, you know it and everyone who is not new to here knows that.

Ende

btw, I think you are one of those haters that still has something like taste and a tolerable level, and I don't remember you ever crossing the line of good taste, which usually means disgusting and no more healthy posts and behavior.
I guess you don't feel adressed anyway, and you know what/who I am really talking about. But I know. You have to keep up the reputation of this serious and beautiful place here.

This has become something of a cross between ridiculous and pathetic.

I simply stated MY opinion on the practice of commenting on children (specifically Lance's kids, but also kids in general) and MY belief that it is inappropriate.

If you guys want to spin it off into some sort of debate on the propriety of posts in the clinic in general, then knock yourselves out.

I don't care what ANY of you say, on the matter of dragging kids into the mud slinging, my original opinion stands.
