Lance out beating up on the locals...

.. and the commentors are praising him for it. He's not even 40 yet and they are acting like he is ancient and it was such an accomplishment.

An ordained World Champion can barely beat a local pro. That speaks volumes. http://www.usacycling.org/results/?compid=255940

To me it says American World Road Champs make awesome mountain bikers;)
Cool RainBow stripes on the jersey btw.

Merckx was 24 when he won the Tour in 1969 (turned 24 in June '69).

Fignon was 22 when he won the Tour in 1983 (turned 23 in August '83).

BTW: Felice Gimondi won the Tour at 22 years old.

Yawn.

If Eddy, Mr Fignon, or Felice won a Leadville qualifier at 40 - that would have been awesome.
But NO way they could have.
Peaked too early.

Some serious bottom feeding, even by Polish standards!

Funny, Gimondi (born 9/29/42) won his last GT, the 1976 Giro, at 33 years, 9 months (turned 34 in September 1976).

Armstrong (born 9/18/71) won his last GT, the 2005 Tour at 33 years, 10 months (turned 34 in September 2005).

Must have peaked a month early...

Tantalizing mention that Levi's ride may be over with Boss Hogg. If Levi's cut loose, it would be standard operating procedure.

Go to the last paragraph.

Why is Lance mad at Levi? Is it because Levi broke Lance's course record at the Leadville Trail 100 ???

Lance hates (almost) everybody these days. I read somewhere that Velonews commentator Charles Pelkey was going to have cancer surgery and Lance was heckling him via Twitter because Pelkey said he didn't want on of those "yellow rubber bands".

Talk about being a "hater"....

This is a bunch of posturing and adds no weight to any argument you are trying to support. It's best to quit now and make up another persona to try spinning the narrative, again. The wheels are starting to come off your wagon.

As for the Coyle references, the entire Wonderboy study is awful science. It is just awful work if you have even a rudimentary handle on the scientific process. Why Coyle is used as a legitimate reference still amazes me.

I never mentioned Coyle, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

No, I happen to know the place and the founder, they most certainly do testing of elite athletes. Yawn. Always have.
THe simple point had to do with the fact that Eddy B knew of his exploits in triathlon, cycling, and some tests that had already been done, as a teenager. THe fact that I know the Cooper Institute, and the people who work there, and have seen the records on the walls there might not mean anything to you. I could not care less.
Doesnt change the facts.

Oh yeah, BTW:

I notice Lance does not talk about his mom much lately. Did she testify to the GJ? What one of Lance's records did she break?

Wait. Davestoller is Hombre from the Daily Peloton? His posts make sense now. I remember that fool was using Armstrong to promote his back cracking business.

Heart as big as a pumpkin and he has seen the x-rays to prove it.

So you are from the Lone Star State then?

The aforementioned "Hombre" was also from Texas. From recollection on another forum claimed he was a doctor and had personally examined an x-ray of wonderboy's huge heart to support his own opinion that LA was a freak of nature.

You can do your credibility a favor by not relying on heresay and by posting links to references when evidence capable of being posted exists.

Fact is the Cooper Institute carries on research into broad mainstream health issues not elite athletic development and testing.

PubMed discloses only 8 published studies carried out by Kenneth Cooper - none relating to elite sports.

Yep, Bottle wasn't willing to go back to the team car in the Grand Jury room, so his ride is over. Lancypoo doesn't put up with the truth being told by anyone.
So telling the truth will set you free----from Armstrong's team.
