Thanks for proving my point, you are a troll

You cannot answer my rebuttal nor my first question. So you name call. A liar, a troll....like I said 100K in posts and you'll still be going.

....a clue, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting : the book is fast-paced, exciting, and full of red herrings. :D

Look, We understand. You are embarrassed, But this is just making it worse

You thought you would stoke the myth with a lie you invented and didn't think anyone would call you on it.....or maybe disruption was your goal?

Lance's own book dedicated a couple pages to the story of this TT. He goes into detail, even down to the color of the jacket his mother was wearing. Funny how even never mentioned the "40km Junior National Record" he set that day.....that's because you made it up.

Whats next? Are you going to tell us how Armstrong is the Youngest ever World Champion? Save it, that is a lie as well.

Maybe Billy is quoting from the Old Testament version of the good Book;

A Reading from the Book of Lance;

The Miracle of Moriarty.
In the year 7 BC (before cancer) - our Lance who was just 11 rode a 12 mile race.
Lance knew today was a big test - yet he felt a chill through his body, which after a period of reflection he identified as being bloody cold. Yes he had forgotten to take warm clothes.

The Lance cried - "Linda, let there be heat" and Linda obediently started the car. But our Lance (now aged 14) failed to warm up and so Lance converted a small pink jacket in to a heat saving garment (exact replicas are available for $250).

The heat generated by the Pink Jacket fired his elephant sized heart and removed lactate from his legs.
But to give the other boys who had better bikes a chance, our Lance (now 17) rode a distance of 40k while they just did 12miles - he still beat the record by 45 seconds. Praise be to Tri bars.

So as not to embarrass the other boys any more Our Lance requested that no official record be kept of this event.

Our Lance had started his journey as a boy but ended it a man - which thankfully the UCI accepted to explain his 11:1 T/E ratio.

Next weeks reading - Our Lances letter to the UCI.

I sure the official record exists: Again perhaps the burden would be upon you to contact usacycling.org and request the results.:D

Can you even point out what page in LAs book he mentions anything about having a "Junior National Record"?

But you brought it up, provided the links and now upset that everyone found out you're FoS.

I'd step away for awhile. Come back when things have calmed down. You're just making it worse by pretending that 40 is 20 & there's a record in there somewhere.

Whenever I think of Moriarty it is in terms of 40k because as I said that's the only event I ever rode there. An unfortunate slip. I guess I have to join USACycling again and reactivate my license as their site is now for members only. I gladly accept cash contributions.;)

It's fine don't worry about it.

Let's just make up some more stuff.... Like Lance's extra long thigh bones that acted as super levers against the pedals. Or 98% V02 Max..... or beating Pro's when he was 12.

And some wonder why they call it the myth......

Making stuff up, groupies love it

You two clowns make **** up all the time. Is it really that different? You all have way more in common than you know. You both obsess over LA and you all make up **** to feed your feeble minds.

Or another superlative from his 2005 Playboy interview
PLAYBOY : Your coach, Chris Carmichael, has said you're not unique as a physical specimen but that you're pretty special. Isn't your heart 30 percent bigger than normal?

ARMSTRONG: : It's bigger. And my muscles supposedly produce less lactic acid. But you know what's interesting? There's a big artery that runs from the middle of your body to your lower half, down to your legs. I had some scans done, and the doctors couldn't believe it: My artery is three times the size of a normal person's.

Do you have an example of me making something up.... or are you making this up?

All I can find is that Lance was junior national tt champ in '89. No mention of record. Back to google for me. I'll dig some more. I'm not trying to prove any one right or wrong I just like the challenge:D

Keep searching! Billy swears it is true, and he is not a liar!:D

Most understand that the national Championships in Colorado Springs is a big difference from a "National Junior Record' In New Mexico

Let's have a thread about people who make stuff up about people who make stuff about people who make stuff up! That would be so interesting!

Sort of like recursive navel-staring!

What's significant to the long term history of USACycling is to note that the TT champ in the younger age group, Matt Johnson; was considered stronger than the group ahead of him by many. He ended up winning 3 Jr. National TTs. An intelligent guy that noted what many on the team did to win and what was done on the international level to compete; he quit cycling rather than become part of it.
Add to him Mike Orr, '90 Jr. TT & pursuit champ, strong guys like Phil Voorhees and Lane Roland with similar pedigrees and you have what should have been an exceptional group of International riders. They all faced the same sad situation about PED realities. Big time shame, really.

Yes there is a big difference.

The National Jr TT Win in Colorado is even more awesome than the New Mexico Jr national record.

Big Mig probably won some Jr National TT titles too.
Although there was more TT competition in the USA I bet.

It's in his first book. It was the pivotal event that took him out of Tri to Road racing. The course is not thirty minutes from where I sit now. Your being foolish. The record is on the books. It has since been broken, but considering the bike he rode, that's no surprise.

Prove me wrong. The Record Challenge Course holds 80-90% of the US records at 40 and 20K. I doubt there's a link directly to the record because it predates the net.

that book is histerical..

"Lance entered a time trial. In a time trial each rider sets off seperately so lance would only be racing against the clock."

"it was a very hot day and the race was 155 miles long with a difficult climb"

All its missing is "peter said goodbye to his mummy and patted jess on the head. Then he went for a walk in the park with his friend Bobby. Bobby was very happy, and Peter was happy too."

Was it written by a 12 year old?

edit: ok, just looked on amazon. Its aimed at young adults, and is actually recommended on their forum in the "books suitable for a six year old boy" section, and just looked on some other sites and its in the "childrens literature" category

Stop teasing!!

Dude, I thought I had heard it all... WTF was he thinking when he fabricated that story.

Ok, so LA has either Thoracic or abdominal aortic ectasia under the age of 30. The average Aorta is between 1.2 and 1.5 cms. So if his was/is 3 times bigger, his Aorta is at least 3.6cms. Any Aorta larger than 3.0 cms by definition is a AAA. But, in someone under 30 it is due to Marfans, FMD, Ehlers Danlos or some other connective tissue disorder. Sometimes CTDs have intracranial aneursyms. Humm, maybe one of those aneursyms were compressing a vital component in his 'rational and truthful' part of his brain. Now it makes sense, I can buy that.

I wonder if LA was the most tested athlete when he was 18 too?

If he genuinely did not dope there would be no need to fabricate all these physiological exceptions. His problem is that he has lost track of all these different false self promotions contributing to his athletic dominance. Proficient liars are blessed with excellent memories.
