has anyone realised how pointless this thread is. The people on each side of the arguement are exactly the same so there is very little point in them talking and all ths thread does is keep repeating the phrase Tuesday. That joke wore out ages ago.

No "interesting links" have been posted in ages and this thread would be better off closed down

Blagojevich Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison

The Judge said

"Whatever good things you did for people as governor, and you did some, I am more concerned with the occasions when you wanted to use your powers when you wanted to do things that were only good for yourself."

The message to Wonderboy is clear. Working out a plea deal would be a smart idea and don't expect the "Done a lot of good" defense to work in the courtroom

The very "point" of this thread is as a containment vessel of sorts. In that regard, I'd say it's working quite well. :D

As far as links, it was only yesterday that we had Bonnie Ford's take on the PCC conference and then links to Floyd's reaction to Howman's statements. That's not too bad.

Oh! RR has another right now. Off to read...

Oh sure, Blagojevich is a real philantropist.
Just made the top of the "Favorite Political Philantropist" list.
When people think of Blagojevich, they think of his Foundation.

I sure hope the indictments come soon.
Before peoples heads start exploding.
Desparation posts.
And plea deals are for pussies lol.

Reading this thread is like watching a container of sea monkeys.

Sometimes there's nothing to see, and sometimes there's something interesting. But sometimes there's something that is, compared to everything else, huge and fascinating. I keep coming back hoping for the huge and fascinating.

So is wonderboy a real philanthropist?

Seems to me he tries to take the kudos for Livestrong's donations. In SCA tribunal he falsely claimed he made the donation of $1.5m to Indiana University Hospital.

Not so, it was Livestrong or, more precisely, the Lance Armstrong Foundation who donated just after the Andreus' affidavits were filed.

But I speculate he rammed it through LAF without complying with proper governance so the hospital could not identify the medicos present when LA rattled off his long list of PED historical use.

Then this is the perfect time for you to help us out and eliminate one more meaningless poster....adieu!

Thank-you.

Everyone wants Lance in cuffs but we'll never see that. When he actually get indicted when won't even know.

The fact that Nov actually agreed to appear on a panel and in public in regards to doping is massive - huge in fact. In addition the fact that Floyd was there and in New York is pivotal.

"Massive," "pivotal," "huge" . . .. By Gawd, it's a transcendent epochal convergence!

What were you expecting?

Floyd-man, the Nov and Howman all the same room and you say - so what?

You're not a very smart guy.

I wasn't expecting anything and was right not to do so.

You're not a very smart guy.

Keep an eye on the federal investigation sticky thread. If anything gets (and stays) posted there, then it'll be interesting here.

Folks,

We're all here for different reasons.

Some people are FANatical and believe LA will be innocent until the permafrost starts to thaw(oh no, that's actually happening, sorry Lance doesn't look good).

Some people are rational and can put one and one together and want to see the once paid-off/buried doping facts brought out into the light.

Some people like to follow real-life soap operas and see liars fail.

Some people like to make tangential jokes about anything related to LA possibly because their own life isn't that rewarding or serious in nature.

Some people want liars and cheats stopped especially when that liar does so on the financial and emotional backs of others.

In any event this thread may not bring sensationalized, vapid, CNN like daily information but it is a means to an end. And the fetid saga of LA will have an end soon enough...

No he said he had no first hand information on Postal's doping thus he doesn't need to speak with the FDA - ie he can't give THEM first hand information.

Reads better than a Fabiani press release:

"extraordinarily shoddy"
"reckless and unprofessional"
"vicious hit-and-run job"

That will be perfect for moving all his stuff to a country without an extradition treaty

Assuming that his passport is still valid........ and he's not on the US Immigration "watch list".
