I think Evans might be slightly sick or something. He should have been able to keep pace with the likes of Vande Velde and the others who followed Armstrong back to the yellow jersey group. This type of climb should suit him.

Must be sick or taking it easy/losing time so he can get a longer leash. I guess the tomorrow and the TT will tell us his intentions.

Don't think that that sort of time loss could be deliberate. I think he's hurting badly. Van De Broek is going to have to win this to salvage Silence's tour.

No way. If he could have followed, he would have.

Evans' last time trials in the last ITT of a Tour are usually not that spectacular anyway. He weakens in that regard during the third week.

Everybody has a cover story.

There's no cover story for the physics watts/kg (it's math). The issue is how much power he's lost with the weight loss. Evidently he's lost much more weight than power.

The issue remains moot HOW/WHY he didn't lose large chunks of power (which was very big to begin with; ask Aldag at Columbia, he has the SRM files), as well, I guess. The differential matters: no reason why it should be 1:1.

We'll see....

What a pretty descent.

That's about all I really have to say. Too bad we didn't finish going up La Plagne after going down this. Would have made the race so much more interesting. :(

LMFAO. Pretty descent? Lance fooled you to I see. :D

As usual, as clueless as ever along with the rest of your knob gobblers.

Says the guy who thought his hero could actually win the race. Glass houses and all....

Well.. I have to admire the dedication of "fanboy nation". They must truely love him or something, given he won'e even finish on the podium this year!

Messed up Schleck attacks with no mountain top finish.

Looks like Dave Z split the group and I didn't see yellow in it.
