Because he had a TT helmet and Q-rings. Westra is too oldfashioned and lost it in the aerodynamic parts.
Wiggins was therefore the best. Period.
HAHAHAHA. Seriously now.

De Gendt and his points have disappeared from the KOM classification. He didn't win it but he has disappeared completely.

2009 was the best one in recent memory. But it was better than 2010 and 2011 for sure.

I though 2010 with the Tondo stage, Mende and the Nice stage, was better than this, with 2 tts 5 sprints and 1 attack from inside 1k by 1 rider followed by a sprint.

Exciting stuff. Westra has really stepped up a notch - he smoked that and had me getting very worried for Wiggo.

30kmh LOL

Two islands and Belgium.

Belgians don't care for him. Time trial specialists= boring, yawn, get on with it.*

* general Belgian opinion.

He's born in Belgium, but 99.9% of the Belgians don't know that :eek:

TT helmet costs Westra Paris-Nice, ouch.
I guess you could say that, also his cornering on the final part wasn't that great. Definitely cost him a few seconds. But this will just leave him hungry for more, so in the long run I guess it's good.
