Same for me. In the last few years I have had a difficult time following the sport I grew up watching, loving and doing in starting back in the early eighties.
Sagan seems to be refreshingly human. He rides with some passion and panache, and seems different from the current crop of number obsessed cycling robots.

He doesn't have that much problem with 250km distance if he rides smart as Cancellara did a last few years.Now just God save Libertine.Every his race Sagan with world champion jersey and rest of his cycling career stripes.This is worst Libertine day guys so please all support her/him.

Like him or not, you can't deny that this guy looks GREAT on a bike and has shitload of talent. Well-deserved winner. Finally he wins something really big.

Haven't had a chance to watch the race yet, but I'm very glad he won. After a season of so many second places it's good he won something big. Also glad he won as the stripes will be in action next year, unlike with Costa and Kwiatkowski. Hopefully he has a superb 2016 in the rainbow stripes.
Will he have any good teammates next season? Tinkoff doesn't seem to be signing many riders. He'll need them as he's going to be marked even more next season.

Kristoff had a useful foil in EBH and the sprint showed he did not have the legs to attack like in RVV. Both teams had strong contenders for the win and the team numbers/strength to bring about the sprint, which was their smartest option.
Degenkolb's ride to track Stybar was impressive, but he completely emptied himself and ended up nowhere- at least the other two came in the top 4.
I think no one expected Sagan to attack solo, nor as strongly as that. In the end his legs were just superior.

Great post, totally agree. On the bold bit I'd like to hear more from Sagan's detractors this description doesn't fit with the image of a spitter or misogynist. With professional sports people as long as they seem decent human beings off the bike I am not concerned with minor faults or loss of judgement. Who are we to judge all human beings who without exception are all by definition imperfect in varying degrees. I think some set the bar for acceptable behaviour unrealistically high and just because posters are regarded as having very high knowledge of cycling does make their opinions infallible.
