How does he beat nibali in the TT but lose time in MTFs? Makes no sense at all. But Pozzo is no dullard, he knows the VAM models that can raise a red flag on climbing performances are near impossible to apply to TTs.

In regards to the subject at hand, I don't think there was anything too strange today.
He won some time in the climb, and lost a lot more in the rest of the stage, to a bunch of other riders, including everyone in the final top10 except Sanchez.
