But I you know I am inteligent you will see that what I mean is thay although is quite possible that Purito finished that stage 9 with for instance 9 minutes lost: 1 in the ITT, 2 in the wind, 5 in the cobbles, 1 in the TTT, nothing strange, maybe there is no cuts in the wing, maybe he lost a little bit less in the ITT, maybe Kathousa will do a great ITT, and maybe he managed to stay with al leats contador and Froome in the coblestone stage, and maybe he didnt crash. there will be a lot of circusntances.. and maybe he could put time on Huy and Bretagne.
if it is that way he could climb with the best for sure, and even put time to everybody in Mende, so he will finish with the best in GC... if he is at the end of stage 9 at the same time than Nibali, he is likely to finish better in GC.
if he is lucky and he is the only of the favourites not afected by crashs, he has more options, of course, but I mean options to win, other riders could be lucky, but they have not options.
IMO the most likely is that he will lose time in the first weesk so he could climb with the best, or even the best some days, but no more, difficult to be on the podium except if he is lucky...
Contador had to main rivals in this Giro, Rigo, that started sick and that was always a problem, and Porte that had several problems... and later Landa his team just wanted to have Aru on the podium, especially in second place, so imposible to do efectives tactics againt Contador. Purito need the circusntances help him as well, other way will be very difficult for him.

Purito crash 2 years ago before Pyrinees and he got the podium anyway.. but with a cobblestone stage I am not goping to bet, sorry.
We could bet he will be stronger climber than Contador if both are without problems.
I dont like Kathousa very much, they werent enought commited about things that for me are important till late, but I need lot of things about cycling (I am jobless) so we could talk about...I dont like capitalist merchandaising but I could do some exceptions in cycling and accept some maillot

Not too bad so far, went as expected in the TT, possibly lost less time than expected to Contador and Froome. No surprise he wasn't in the front group today, but I had hoped he could do better with Kristoff and Paolini with him. He needs to finish top 3 on Huy though, hopefully he won't get boxed in again and he should know not too as well.

Well it seems like he's struggling a bit after today with 2 crashes, hopefully he'll be alright. It'll still be disappointing if he can't podium the stage as this is one of the few stages he has a legitimate chance to gain time on the top contenders

As I said before to star Tour, he can win le Tour, bud he need luck and bad luck for others. At the moment he wanst lucky yesterday.
Anyway Froome is the best, he is clearly stronger than in 2013, and quintana is an strong rider as well, but I wouldnt be surprised if the podium is the same: Froome, Quintana, Purito.
Tomoroow willbe an important day for all of them.
Tejay and Urán are the other candidates for the podium IMO, but the team must work for Urán from now, other way is very difficult.
There is still a long week till monday and crashes will be more important than any other things. With the crash of today, some abandons, and 3 demanding stages the possibility of importanmt crashes is lower, but is still there, specially tomorrow.
TTT will be important too, specially if some leader lose an important domestique.
For Mollema is important Cancellara get better for that day.

he and Froome were both quicker than Valverde at FW too. Different race ofc, but strong performance.
