Chris Horner signing

News is that Chris Horner is signing with an American team. Any guesses which team? BMC, Trek?

The last time we heard from his manager it didn't sound like a Protour team was in the cards?

They said it was a PCT last time, but UHC said it was full and they have already announced their 2015 roster and Novo Nordisk is for riders with diabetis. So both seem unlikely.

I hope it is Trek or BMC would be a shame if he goes to Jamis Hagen or something like that.

Speculation has been rife as to which team Horner has signed for but Cooke ruled out a WorldTour squad, thus ending any rumours of a move to BMC Racing or Trek Factory Racing, the latter having told Cyclingnews last Friday that they were not interested in re-signing the American.

My bet is Jamis then

ok, here's the actual news item : http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/horner-signs-one-year-deal-with-us-team

In recent weeks, Horner has been linked to a number of domestic teams including Jelly Belly, UnitedHealthcare, Jamis, Smartstop and Bissel. Cooke would not be drawn on which team Horner would ride for in 2015 but Jamis, Jelly Belly, UnitedHealthcare and Smartstop have previously ruled out signing the American.

That would have to be Bissel then ?

Ridiculous! He's still a GT podium contender for crying out load.

He would've been the perfect signing for Vacansoleil though :(

Well if he sings for UHC he has a good chance of making Giro ;)

But since UHC seems to have completed their rooster it's unlikely :(

Lol, even Cobo managed two years between GT win and unceremonious dumping down to the Continental level... and he didn't perform as well as Horner in the interim either.

It seems to me that at this point Horner is getting exactly the r.e.s.p.e.c.t. he deserves. Will his shopping cart have sram or shimano components?
