Oh, I couldn't agree more. Geez, just look at all those bottom of the barrel types in there: Pavla Havlikova (podium behind HK and DvdB in 08) in 30th, Helen Wyman (podium EK, 2nd in a WC) in 23rd, Sanne van Paassen (2nd Hoogerheide WC) in 9th.

Yes, Vos, Hanka and Daphny have won the most consistenly and are a level above, but "questionable at best"?? That's just plain insulting to the women who have worked their tails off and are the best riders in their countries.

not to sound disrespectful in any way, but a lot of the international-level sportswomen I have talked after they have had children have remarked that they didn't really get what fuss was about because they said it was less painful than much of the training they have done... Maybe because they are international-sports people they don't feel the pain so much (all seem pretty mental), or are conditioned to it, but they were basically like, yeah, childbirth was easy compared to that 10 x 4min above threshold set I did twice a week for 4 years...

I've noticed women crit riders are often ample hipped. Being a a$$ man myself, i appreciate them greatly.
Maybe being broad of hip than ruunway models and beauty pagent types make childbirth more easy for them.
