Let me simplify the whole argument. Difference? There is NO fricken difference.
Well he is Canadian and they are practically British (except for the minority that is practically French) so............maybe not doping.

Sorry, huge difference. Hesj chose to ride with Garmin. No one forced him to.

He made a choice on his own to take a risk with his career and JV.

Clentadoppucci comes back from serial doping offenses to ride for nothing but serial doping teams and when he can't compete because he no longer has as many blood bags he blames it on serial allergies! Cuz he wants you all to believe that all those ridiculous fraudulent perfs were real. And clearly it works cuz u guys swallow it all hook line and syringe.

You have to admit though that really he's not awesome. He lies a lot. Doesn't tell the truth, is very goofy and can't front the media over his doping. He's a bit useless all round. Today was a good example. Taking advantage of a situation she really he should be a leader.

He's not much different than any other cyclist in terms of doping but he's certainly not awesome. No chance of ever being awesome.

Oh, but you are so wrong.

That's the problem with most clinician logic. Many of you suffer from the terrible disease called False Equivalency. Cuz u got burned or let down by your favorite rider then everyone is equal, everyone is bad, and everyone is doing it. Factually incorrect, and inherently anti-intellectual. It's what the press do, when they give equal weight to two beliefs, even when one can be proven factually incorrect. That's u clinicians who think you are so "in the know" by saying "everyone is equally bad".

Quite funny really.

At some point in his career he made a very distinct choice.

Would be interesting to know at what point this choice (I assume you mean to race clean) was made? Ryder in his public confession never specified what his mistakes were or was precise with his dates.

When you build your engine in a 'modified' shop you have to accept there will always be a * by your name.

Ryder may have showed some pretty good grit on the bike today, but his managed confession by press release and refusal to answer media questions publicly on the subject did not show much character at all. Hard to blame those with doubts.

Whatever the case about Ryder at this point, you are woefully off-base with these comments.

These are David Walsh talking points, best never repeated by anyone with a functioning brain, which you appear to have.

No, I just said he's not awesome that's all. He's a doper fairly much like alll the rest and lies a lot. Makes stuff up and hides in basement apartments with Chicken Rasmussen and injects EPO. Trainspotting right there. I want to see your eyes as you inject for the first time. Chicken and Ryder. Brothers in Arms.

So Hesjedal much better than when he was a doper = clean, Contador and Valverde about the same as when they were dopers = dirty.

Oh even mentions how bad Contador was in 2013, ironing much?

Except a doper is a doper, no matter how little or how much they dope, nor which products they use, and regardless of the impact of the doping.

If one guy dopes and gets a massive boost, that's just luck.

Either your understanding of doping is completely different to what I would consider most people perceive as doping, or your claim of a fallacy is a misdiagnosis.

So Hesjedal, a traditional EPO doper, comes out flying after the 3rd rest day?
Once a doper always a doper......

I'd still like to think he has better long-term recovery than most but who the hell knows? We never will, well, never is a long time and remarkably short as we've seen. I wasn't there, I don't know.

For the guys who have readen the Hamilton's book, remember the part where he explain how the blood transfusion works in your body and how it affects your performance?

You had to dig deep - it felt like you were at your limit, but you could push through that barrier and go even harder.

Is that right?

Wow fanboys dont even mean what they post.

Hesjedal = doper.

His elevated blood levels in the 3rd week of the 2012 giro tell us that.

“The men in charge are the race organisers, not the UCI commissars and we have proof that on the top of the Stelvio the radio said there would be motorbikes with flags and that no risks would be taken and that at the end of the descent every group could start with the gaps they had at the top. Then afterwards the Giro d’Italia removed their Tweet about the neutralization. Then, and how can you be more of a coward than this, they put the guilt on the man from radio. It’s wasn’t his decision. I think they just changed their minds because they were happy that Quintana, Hesjedal and Rolland were in a break and it was nice for the Giro.”

“That’s not how you should manage a race. If you say something you don’t step backwards after you’ve said it. Call Riis, call Guercilena, call Martinelli, and others. They were all upset because their riders were stopping on the Stelvio, changing clothes because of the things that were said.”

Lefevere’s frustration and anger wasn’t just directed at the race organisers who have subsequently issued a further statement in which they claim that neutralization was never confirmed.

“If you’re a Formula One driver and you pass the safety car then you’re automatically out of the race. A red flag is a red flag. It means that you don’t start racing before the flag is down,” Lefevere added.

Lefevere not happy with Ryder.

Ryder speaks. He's not very endearing is he?

However Hesjedal insisted he did nothing wrong.

"Tell me what a neutralised descent is? Does everyone just stop?" he said as he rode to the start of the stage.

"If you're serious about the race and especially if you're in the pink jersey, you should have been at the head of affairs. End of story. Everyone rode down the descent and that was it."

When asked about the race motorbikes and red flags, Hesjedal said: "I just followed the guys that were ahead of me on the GC. There was stuff and people everywhere. I just rode the descent. I was basically on my own for the whole descent. I connected with those guys (the Quintana, Rolland group) at the bottom."

Hesjedal said he was more focused on surviving that gaining time on his rivals.

As much as i dislike Hesjedal, i must say his racing related statements always seem pretty rational and logical.

Remember the sword fight metaphor on chaingate?

He seemed troubled by the organizer and the officials by virtue of the fact they do run the race, not organize it. Ryder is only mentioned as a beneficiary in that quote>

A beneficiary he is indeed. A career doper who got a free pass. Story of his life. Tutored by Chicken Rasmussen, Phonak, USPS, LS. The guy is a walking infomercial for drugs.

If you would like to go a little back in time. Old Ryder & Roland Green were shady at best! On the MTB Circuit!
