Samu clocking up another win when it matters. Some great racing during the last week. I think Samu will add a bit of colour to the Tour in July.

Samu is back and looking better than ever.
The whole cycling landscape, is about to change.

No way, that would be ridiculous! He was a clear favorite (together with Jrod) for all three ardennes classics...Dekker_Tifosi said:i read now samu will probably skip the classics because he wants enough rest for the Tour

Great show this week, I thoroughly enjoyed the Samu, JRod battle
I think I'm drawn to the Spanish riders; Contador, Valverde, Samu, JRod because they all share a certain 'animate the race' style.
Great win today by the Strongest Man in the race![]()
No, I'm serious. They're the contenders who have shown best shape. Schlecks won't win, and Gilbert needs a miracle to even finish in the top 10. So it's between Samu, Jrod and Valverde in my opinion (+Nordhaug of courseVino attacks everyone said:Really? or are you being ironic?![]()

Because unlike Phil, Hushovd did show glimpses of form before P-R (14th P-N prologue, kept up long in Omloop, 5th in a P-N stage). Also, in P-R simply being good on cobbles can get you a long way, even with crappy form. It's impossible to do well in the Ardennes with bad form.El Pistolero said:Hushovd was 14th in PR with a crash. Why wouldn't Phil be able to do better?

Samu is not usually about winning.luckyboy said:He said his only dream left is to get a Worlds medal. What about GTs? Winning the Vuelta?
Caruut said:He's already won the Vuelta. Perhaps he just means that the WC medal is more of a dream than a goal.
You are aware that Gilbert hasn't been in the top 15 once this season, right? How that can be better than Hushovd is beyond me. I remember you praising Boonen for his P-N prologue, but clearly Hushovd, who was 1 second behind Boonen, was horrible, right? But anyway, the discussion is pointless and the conclusion is that they've both been absolutely ****El Pistolero said:Erm, no, Hushovd was even crappier than Phil so far.
