After Geraint Thomas' dreadful performance and Suisse and mediocre performance so far here, Henao has been given leeway to ride his own GC. Slightly disappointed he hasn't gone better lately, but then again, he really isn't a GC contender, at least not in the Tour. Could very well see him win a Vuelta like this year tho, would be absolutely perfect for him, but not after a Tour de France.
Where did you read that?

Besides most of the damage was done on the TT which he has the same problems as for Quintana. He has done good so far IMHO.

I didn't read it anywhere, I just think its fairly obvious watching the race

I've expected better TT.

No point going all out to ride for a 15th on GC.

He probably just rode it steady, save himself in case Froome needs him next week.
He had 1:42 loss on third place before time trial. Given small time gaps what you've said doesn't make sense. He wasn't very good day before too.

As I expected Henao is tiring ... 3 week GT is not his thing...He has done a great job for Froome though so far
He will probably slip more as he is rested for last stages

What he really should do is rest up for Olympics (has a good shot) ..also Lombardia

bs. look at the giro 2012, he was one of the best guys in the final stages, especially to stelvio where he was better than his leader uran but sacrificed himself. also name me one colombia who doesn't have great recuperation. they all have, even sprinters

I based my views on results .what else is there ...and many riders ride well as dom ...does not make them 3 weeks racers
I am sorry peoplee don't agree but my view are as valid as anyones and I would prefer you didn't call them BS and show some respect for alternative and justified opinions

based on what facts? the fact that in giro 2012 he got better by the day?

2-12 ? When Hesjedal & Wiggins were wining GTs  ..Talk about scraping the barrel for facts
In fact Heano went from 4.52 down by stage 17 to 7.20 by stage 20

As I said before while riding for Froome I expect him to drop more time and he would be better to target Olympics and maybe Lombardia

If Henao was 3 week GT rider he would have shown more by now.

Sad about crash, any news on him
Broken iliac crest, or something. Don't know how to translate it properly. It's said it's nothing serious, he'll suffer more from a broken heart and spirit.
Top ridge on your hip bone. Probably just a fracture, can't imagine you properly break that and say it's nothing serious. That said, *** he can never seem to catch a win

What a pity. He would have been the clear favourite if it came down to a sprint between the front three. Always so unlucky.

Henao took down nibali. And i dont understand how he would have been favourite? Nibali is considerably faster on flat. And he was fresher. Henao was getting dropped on the descent and touched nibali rear.

But it's the opposite, Henao is considerably faster / more powerful...

Wht a non-sense! from here you can hint the quality of the first two sentences

What? Nibali is a bad sprinter while Henao on the other hand is really explosive. Of course everything could have happened in the finish, but Henao would surely have been the favourite to win a sprint from the group between the three
