No its not. Its like saying if a bunch of tiders cross a closed rail-way crossing, all others should do it. That would be the dumbest thing ever.

If you cant trust what the organizers report then you get total anarchy
Point being it's not clear at all that the neutralization was announced on the race radio, i.e. the channel that matters.

Any official channel used by the organisers have to be trusted. Oh, and who says it wasnt in the radio too?

What I don't understand is how did Sky, Movistar, Europcar and Garmin know to go hard on the descent?

Brailsford and Unzue hacked the Giro twitter so they could get their revenge on OPQ and Tinkoff after TDF stage 13 :D

A million people reported it being said on race radio, the Dutch rider representative guy said it too who would have been in discussion with the organisers. But those who are in the Uran group shouldn't be looking to blame anyone but themselves.

The Twitter feed doesn't have precedence over the race radio and what the officers do on the road.

I'm not saying it wasn't on the race radio. I don't know. The Spanish Eurosport commentators say it wasn't. Others say it was. Hence, it's not clear.
